These camps are designed for players seeking only the highest-quality training program experience, Pickleball Central has partnered with three-time US Open Gold Medalist Steve Dawson of the World Famous Bobby Riggs Racket and Paddle center.
BOOST tournament Tune Up
camp is a two day, drill and competitive prep course, offered just prior
to a tournament, designed for players who are interested in lifting
their game for better tournament results. This condensed version of our
3 day camp translates
into more time per day on the court and more balls struck per day and is
recommended for the committed devotee. Instruction and drills are
geared toward shot selection and intelligent play. This workshop is
more of a " What to do " session as opposed to a
" How to do" camp. Your coaches are the best players in the world, so
expect only the best advice on how to give your game a BOOST for
You should expect a lot of personalized instruction, as the instructor to student ratio is 8 to 1, and each drill is led by the Coach Dawson or his hand picked 5.0 Guest Pro & staff instructors. Space is limited to 32 participants and will use 8 indoor temporary courts.
Our Pickleball Training Camps will focus on skill development, strategy, shot technique, practice methods, and mental preparation to improve your overall game. These programs are sponsored by PickleballTournaments.com, and administered by Pickleball Central so you can sign up with confidence. The team at Life Time has collaborated with Pickleball Central and PickleballTournaments.com to create the best possible program, so we guarantee your satisfaction with this training camp! You will receive world-class instruction from nationally ranked players and guest professionals, in a supportive and upbeat atmosphere.
Unique to these camps is the use of both a highly trained and experienced Head Professional Instructor along with a Proven Championship Winning Caliber Guest Pro Instructor who will share unique insights into what it takes to succeed at the highest level of the sport. The Head Pro is certified to teach this program by Steve Dawson. The Guest Pros (see which camps have which guest pros below) are hand selected by Coach Dawson and are familiar with his approach to teaching winning pickleball. The result is you will get access to an amazing amount of face-to-face time with some of the best players in the game.

Head Pro: The Training Camp will be led by IPTPA Certified Head Pro Peter Hudachko, with guest instructors that will vary by camp date. Peter is the Head Teaching Pro at the Pacific Northwest's premier pickleball instructional facility, Pickleball Station. He is a 5.0 player with over 5 years of pickleball tournament and teaching experience. His boot camps, clinics, and lessons are highly sought after. As a tournament competitor, Peter is a 2018 US Open Silver Medalist (5.0 Men's Doubles 35+, 5.0 Mixed Doubles 35+), 2015 Tournament of Champions Men's Open Doubles Bronze Medalist, and 2016 Canadian Nationals Men's Open Bronze Medalist.
Jessie "Trinity" Irvine - Jessie comes to the sport of pickleball from a successful tennis career and is originally from Cary, North Carolina. She started playing tennis at the age of 10 and was a top 10 Junior Tennis Player, former WTA Pro Tennis Player, and Top Women POP Tennis Player. Jessie moved to Southern California to focus on coaching juniors in tennis, which she has been doing now for almost 10 years. Her pickleball career began in November 2018. Jessie is making a statement on the pickleball courts as a member of team Engage and is continuing to add to her resume which includes a 4th place finish in Women's Pro Doubles at the 2019 US Open. Jessie is also a 2019 Tournament of Champions Gold & Silver Medalist, 2019 Las Vegas Open Silver & Bronze Medalist, and 2019 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships Gold & Silver Medalist.
Guest Pro: Rob Davidson - Rob is recognized as one of the top
players and instructors in Pickleball. He is a full-time instructor and
is one of the first instructors certified by the IPTPA. Rob has won
numerous tournaments, as well as being a gold medalist in the US Open
and USAPA National Championships. He has worked with individuals,
partners, groups, clubs, and Pickleball Magazine, catering to a variety
of skill levels and group sizes, and currently works running pickleball
camps throughout the country. In addition, he is the president of a
non-profit scholarship foundation for pickleball youth athletes called
Pickleball Legacy Scholarship Foundation.
Originally from Portland, OR, he relocated at the end of 2016 to the
beautiful Pickleball-friendly city of Saint George, UT. He has a heart
for teaching and enjoys helping others improve their skills and achieve
their goals in pickleball.
