Details

Hybrid shape all-court paddle designed for confident control thanks a 14.3mm QRT core, a 5.5” handle, and a gritty T700 Raw Carbon Fiber hitting surface.

Middleweight/Medium Grip

Paddletek GTO 14.3mm Raw Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle

The Paddletek GTO 14.3mm Pickleball Paddle is crafted for players who want a perfect balance of touch and controlled power. With a thicker 14.3mm Coldpressed QRT core and PT-07 Matrix Stability Layer, it delivers a more stable feel on contact, helping absorb shock while keeping shots consistent and deliberate. The aerodynamic tapered shape and head-biased balance still offer fast swing speeds, but with the extra softness we rely on for strategic play.

The raw Toray T700 carbon fiber face on the Paddletek GTO 14.3mm Pickleball Paddle enhances spin potential and precision, while the carbon steel perimeter system boosts twist weight and enlarges the sweet spot for those pesky off-center strikes. The 5.5" handle is ideal for two-handed backhands and reach at the net, while the 7.9 oz average weight makes it easy to maneuver while retaining solid impact through the ball. The GTO 14.3mm is the paddle of choice for players looking to slow the game down and stay in control.

Expert's Corner: Bantam GTO-C 14.3mm
  • Excellent ball shaping
  • Improved sweet spot

The 14.3mm GTO-C hits the perfect gap between all-court and power, meaning with some good technique you can bend the ball right where you want it, and you have enough firepower to put the ball away when you need to. The hybrid shape from Paddletek is a little unique, and it feels more like a maneuverable elongated paddle than an extended standard shape to me.

Drives, drops, and serves felt like an extension of my arm with this model, though they weren't quite as lethal as those with the 12.7mm version. That tradeoff was worth it for me when it came to resets and dinks as even in the cold with a hard ball, I was able to keep the ball low over the net keeping me in the point longer. Intermediate to pro players looking for controllable power in a hybrid shape with best in class durability and warranty protection should consider the 14.3mm GTO-C.
