Description Technical Specs

Vulcan V710 Hybrid Pickleball Paddle

The Vulcan V710 Hybrid Paddle has a state-of-the-art design made to serve all-court players who want the best aspects of pickleball gear: touch, placement, power and speed. Its polymer lattice core combined with the reinforced V-Skin surface creates an exceptional feel. The consistent construction was created to eliminate unnecessary weight and glue lines so you can focus on optimal performance no matter the setting.

The Vulcan V710 Hybrid Paddle is well balanced at a 7.9 oz average weight. The medium grip circumference makes it simple to handle and change up your shots as needed. This paddle has plenty of pop but can be easily modulated by its handler for both dinks and put-aways. The imagery features a geometric design in black and gray with the Vulcan V on the right side of the face.

The Vulcan V710 Hybrid Paddle is an elite offering that is truly versatile and dynamic enough to handle any environment and opponent.

4 of 5 Vulcan V710 Hybrid - Standard Weight December 27, 2019
Reviewer: Scott G. from Texas
I experienced the same issues as Kurt M. with my first paddle.  Vulcan sent another one (giving me the option of a refund) and I've not experienced those issues again.

The paddle feels weighted a bit heavier at the top but not so much to make it off balance.  It is easy to swing and I feel it could be a viable option for someone looking to move up from a lighter paddle without the sensation of bulkiness.   It does seem to have a smaller sweet spot than my other paddle but will ably carry less than perfect strikes.

I got this paddle to go with an excellent touch/spin/placement one I have that offers very little "pop".  The V710 Hybrid has given me a bit more "pop" without completely sacrificing all of the attributes I enjoy with my other paddle.  It also feels more maneuverable at the NVZ line.

I believe this paddle to be correctly described and recommend it.

1 of 5 Vulcan V710, No Sweet Spot? December 10, 2019
Reviewer: Kurt M. from Hot Springs, AR
The V710 paddle is not like the V510/V540 hybrid paddles in terms of surface feel and ball response.  The sweet spot could not be found in the V710 paddle and hits were hard, dead feeling, and uncontrollable.   In the first few hits with this paddle, could tell this was not the paddle for me.  Was hoping the V700 series paddles were an upgrade to the V500 series, but unfortunately this was not the case.  Paddle was returned.  The PickleballCentral staff get 5 stars for customer service!
