HEAD Radical Tour Graphite Paddle

The Radical Tour Graphite Pickleball Paddle is a long, tough paddle that will grant you super speed. Thanks to the carbon/graphite face you'll find out just how quick pickleballs react as you leave opponents in the dust. The 16" paddle face is great for reaching distant pickleballs and covering a broad area of the court. The extra texture on makes it easier to add spin so you get precision placement on every hit.

The Radical Tour Graphite Pickleball Paddle has a 7.8 - 8.2 oz weight and a 5" long handle that allows plenty of room for your hand. The design has a gradient orange and blue background intermixed with black lines. On top of this is the HEAD logo in white. The grip is a medium size and uses EVA material inside to provide extra cushioning. This provides shock absorption and a better feel.

The Radical Tour Graphite Pickleball Paddle lets you make the most of every opportunity you get to win a point.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Hi everyone, Sarah Ansboury here. I am your 2016 US OPEN Women’s Doubles Champion and Mixed Doubles Champion and I’m here to talk to you about HEAD Pickleball. These paddles are fantastic, so I can’t wait for you guys to try them. This is the HEAD Radical Tour. What is so cool about these paddles, you have this dynamic power shape. There’s a tapered edge, it kind of goes inward a little bit. It gives you a little more maneuverability, but it also gives you some nice pop. The surface that we have is a carbon graphite, so the feel on this is unbelievable. It’s soft and it’s powerful. Now with this we have the extreme spin texture on here. I can’t believe the grab this texture has. But my absolute favorite thing about this paddle, this is one single piece. What that means is it’s going to be a much more stable and secure paddle overall. This is the Radical Tour at 7.9 ounces. What you want to do is try it out. See what you think about that weight. See the feel. Now if you don’t like it, well then try something out in the series and you’re going to find something that you like, and PickleballCentral has them all!
Radical Tour Graphite Paddle Review
PickleballCentral Expert's Corner:
"The Radical paddles are thicker than the Xtreme series and provide more power and forgiveness on the ball. Players will feel more “pop” using a Radical while still getting good control. The heavier weight comes from the balance of the paddle. This will appeal to players looking for a power paddle that provides a quick response. This series is also a great choice for players new to pickleball." - Sarah Ansboury, Pro Player (5.0)

5 of 5 Head Radical Tour June 15, 2020

Of all the paddles I've tried, I get more power and topspin with this paddle than any other paddle I've hit, and that's becoming a rather long list.  I like this paddle for a power game, in singles, and in stronger wind (I play almost exclusively outdoors).  The face is thinner than paddles like Invicta or Response Pro, so it feels light and maneuverable.  I find I'm not quite as effective at the NVZ with this paddle as I am with the Invicta, as the Invicta has a bit softer and more "springy" feel on softer shots, which gives me the feel I have more control.  But at least so far, no paddle I have hit yet can generate as much power and topspin as this paddle, at least in my still-newer-to-pickleball hand.  The Head handles are my favorite of any handle on a paddle I've tried.  Perfect length, shape, and comfort for me.  Only drawback is it does get a little slippery with a sweaty hand.  Overall, I love this paddle and feel it's very reasonably priced for what you get.
