Be a phantom on the pickleball courts with this smooth-playing pickleball paddle. The Graphite Phantom Pickleball Paddle has a graphite paddle face decorated with a vinyl decal of a misty swirl. The paddle core is aluminum honeycomb. Aluminum cores provide ideal touch and control in pickleball.

This is a nicely weighted paddle coming in at between 7.0 and 7.5 ounces, classifying the Phantom Graphite paddle as a middleweight paddle.

The black edge guard protects the integrity of the paddle. This paddle provides solid hits thanks to the aluminum core and sturdy graphite face. The Phantom Graphite is considered a quiet pickleball paddle by several pickleball groups, and is on the Green Zone on the Sun City Grand list.

The wide body of 8, combined with a long length of 15-1/2, means that the hitting area on the Graphite Phantom paddle is extremely large. The weight range, 7.0-7.5 ounces, is a great middleweight that many players enjoy and the grip size is small.

The Phantom Graphite paddle is well-loved by many pickleball players across the world and is a great choice for beginners, pros, and everyone in between.

Available in the following colors: red, blue, pink, yellow, purple, white, and green. New Design for 2017 now available.

Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, Im Steve Wong with Onix Pickleball. This is the Graphite Phantom Widebody Paddle available at PickleballCentral. This is a widebody paddle, so it has that extra big hitting surface. Great for ground strokes. It has good power but its not out of control. Its more of a touch paddle. Its an aluminum core interior, nice graphite surface. Great touch, contour grip, and available at

Here is a transcript of the video:

Steve Wong with Onix Sports. Im here at the Pickleball Central Warehouse in Kent Washington. The two paddles I have in my hands are the Graphite Phantom and the Composite Phantom. The Graphite Phantom is a great touch paddle. Its a little bit quieter than most of the other paddles that we sell. This paddle has an aluminum core and is really good for that touch shot. So its great for just dinking or dropping the shot from the baseline. They come in a great variety of colors. This is yellow, one of the hottest graphics on the court. So, one of the most popular paddles out there and you can purchase it at And this paddle is the Composite Phantom. This is one of the heavier paddles. This one is around 8 to 9 ounce range, towards the medium to heavier line. This one (Graphite Phantom) is under 8 ounces, about 7.7 or so. So this one has that same power, same touch, great control just a little bit heavier for the folks who like a little bit bulkier paddle. This is really good at the net too, because it has that power, its a little bit heavier. Both paddles are available at Check em out.

Ok so far, but a little bit of small bubbling November 11, 2017
Reviewer: Cody Bain from Colony, KS United States
I'd been borrowing a Phantom from someone else, which is why I chose it when getting my own paddle. I was used to it and knew I liked it. Mine is good so far. I've used it 3x now for about 1.5 hrs each time. I have noticed the design (paint?) on the flat of the paddle is already starting to chip off in several places though. I'm very careful with it, never hit anything but the ball itself. Way to costly for any roughhousing! For what it cost, I would have expected the design to last FAR longer and not start wearing off with only 4-5 hours of use. It probably won't affect game play, but it's a little disappointing since I like the design. If all the design ends up peeling off it'll just be a black paddle with maybe a few bits of color left here and there. PICKLEBALLCENTRAL RESPONSE: Thanks for your review of the Phantom Graphite paddle.  The logo may chip off in play, but it is not supposed to bubble up, unless it has been exposed to extremes of temperature. We do have a 30 day, try it program, where if you don’t like it, you can return it for refund or exchange if the paddle has not been modified in any way. Let me know if you want to take advantage of our 30 day return-exchange policy,

Phantom Paddle 2016 model October 19, 2017
Reviewer: Love Pickleball game from Mason, OH United States
I recently bought the paddle.  I just started to play and wasnt sure what to buy.  I do have idea for the paddle that I would like to have: not too light weight, small grip, and graphite material.  The first sale lady is very knowledgeable about pickleball.  I learned a lot from her (I dont have her name).  When I called back to buy it, it is handled by a different sale lady (who just want me to buy it and not want to answer many questions!)  But overall, I had good experience.  It took about a week to get the paddle even they shipped it right away.

Graphite/Aluminum Phantom Paddle September 23, 2017

Have always used Champion fiberglass/aluminum paddles so I wanted to try graphite.  Finding them similar, but the Phantom Paddle seems to be of inferior quality.
