Power Play Pro Pickleball Paddle
The Power Play Pro Composite Pickleball Paddle is uniquely designed in a shape that closely resembles a teardrop. This tapered shape allows for a seemingly longer handle, as well as transferring the weight balance into the head. The “head-heavy” design gives each hit more power, inspiring its name. Similar to other Paddletek paddles, this paddle has a simple yet striking appearance. Plain-colored, textured vinyl covers the fiberglass face which surrounds the specifically-designed polymer core. This core aims to improve paddle reaction performance as well as reduce the noise during play.
Composite Power Play Pro paddle weighs a crowd-pleasing 7.8 to 8.3 ounces, a happy medium which provides both control and power. At the widest point, this slender paddle has a width of 7-3/4” and an overall length of 15-5/8”. The handle itself measures 5” long, but due to the tapered design, the bottom of the face becomes almost as narrow as the handle. This paddle has a small-sized grip which seems to fit a large proportion of players.
The Power Play Pro paddle is a fantastic choice for players who want a top-heavy paddle for that extra oomph.
Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Love this paddle. Reviewer: Christine Barbee from Las Cruces, NM United States I have been playing pickleball for 4 years and this is the 4th paddle I have purchased. The minute I started playing with it I knew I loved it. I am not a power hitter and this makes my shots stronger without losing any control. It is great at the net with dinks and placement. I am very happy with it and love the customer service at PickleballCentral.
Great paddle; power and control Reviewer: ALAN LAMOREAUX from CHAPEL HILL, NC United States Great paddle with lots of power and control. Like the fact that it is lighter than other Paddletek made of same material.
Power Play Pro Reviewer: Tony from Colorado A very subjective/individual preference paddle. It's well made, and gives good power for the weight. For me, being more of a touch player, I struggled with it.... The weight towards the top of the paddle was counter-productive for me trying to hit those soft precise shots. If I choked up on the grip a little it was better balanced for that sort of play, but obviously that is not something I want to do longterm with this paddle. Returning and trying the bantam EX-L which should work much better for my game. Thanks pickleball central for great customer service!
Better Ball Control Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Fredericksburg, VA United States I learned on a Champion Graphite paddle. I found the ball came off the racket pretty quick which made it a bit difficult to hit a finesse shot. I was looking to try something different. After talking to the sales rep, I decided on the Power Play Pro. It is a composite paddle (not graphite) with a vinyl surface. I find that the Power Play Pro gives me better ball control than the livelier Champion Graphite. It is a lot easier to get good "spin" on the ball with the Power Play Pro. Also, once I got used to it, I feel like I am hitting better drop shots and lobs. I can still slam the ball but it takes a bit more effort (there is a trade of control over power). The vinyl face seems to hold up better than the painted graphite paddle, which seem to get small chips after a few weeks of outdoor play. Several people in our club have tried my Power Play Pro and they do not like it. They feel they need to strike the ball harder to get it across the net.
Awsome paddle Reviewer: Eugene M DeBari Jr from Upper Marlboro, MD United States After purchasing five other paddles for testing i have come to the conclusion it really makes a difference whether you are playing indoor or outdoor pickleball. This paddletek pro paddle is my choice hands down for indoor play with a jugs bulldog ball. At 8.1 ozs its a perfect weight for softer balls. This paddletek has improved my short and long game. I am having less long shot outs and shorts and dinks i am in total control. I just love it. Outdoors i prefer a heavier paddle as the balls are much harder. For me light paddles using outdoor balls just feel dead. Overall the paddletek pro is well made and a winner in my bag.
Paddle Perfect Reviewer: Timothy Doyle from Westerville, OH United States My first paddle was wooden, and wouldn't you know: it was a little on the heavy side. For some inexplicable reason, I kept hitting the ball into the net, or long, or of to one side or the other. I assumed the problem was my paddle. I read the reviews on Pickleball Central and decided to upgrade to a Paddletek Power Play Pro. The weight difference is noticeable, especially at the end of two hours' play. I have found that I am able to get the paddle into position more quickly (for net play), but no appreciable loss of power. In sum, control is better, and I'm sure I look cool at the same time. Very pleased with the Paddletek. I haven't completely resolved the problem about hitting the ball into the net (or long), but I'm sure that a new pair of shoes is now all that I need.
Power Play Pro Pickleball Paddle Reviewer: Sue Best from St. George, UT United States Quick delivery of an outstanding paddle. A bit smaller than my previous paddle, so a slight learning curve with timing and paddle-to-ball placement, but I love it!
Great paddle, great service Reviewer: James from Victoria, BC Canada Super quick delivery (even with customs) and Pam always makes sure I get the requested weight. This is a very well-constructed paddle. The emphasis is on control not power but if you have a finesse game this paddle is highly recommended.
Good Reviewer: Rosalie Perea from Albuquerque, NM United States Since the weigh is distributed on the head of the paddle I find it good for dink shots. The shape is ok because I have used an enforcer which is similar in shape.
Power Play Pro Reviewer: Bill R. from Oconomowoc, WI United States This is a fantastic and consistent paddle. My father-in-law uses one and I've played with it many times. I love the feel of the paddle and the added control it gives me for my shots. It's a good overall paddle for those who like the soft game as well as the power game. To Kevin Beebe who gave it three stars for uneven weight distribution. It specifically says that by shaving off a little material from the bottom of the paddle, it moves the center of gravity forward (toward the top of the paddle). Just about any paddle that has been "shaved" will change the center of gravity on the paddle. It will just take some time to adjust and get use to. Try hitting your under hand shots a bit closer to the "top" of the paddle and you'll be good to go!
Paddletek Power Play Pro. 7.8 oz Reviewer: Marc from Canada Thi paddle has amazing control and feel. I am a touch player that also likes power for put aways. I have a couple lighter paddles that are more popular wit the top players and I keep thinking I need to use them against good players at the net but actually find myself going back to the power play every time for the ball control it gives me. It is half an oz heavier than my other paddles but is well balanced and takes much less effort to stroke the ball which makes for quick volleys. Also gives great drop shot control if you use drops to advance to the nvz.
