Poach Composite Pickleball Paddle

The Poach Pickleball Paddle is an innovative pickleball paddle which features an extremely-unique “dual core” design. Two aluminum honeycomb cores are separated by a layer of fiberglass, with composite faces sandwiching the cores together. These two cores give a harder hitting surface and also increase the lifespan of the paddle. This firmer surface, in turn, increases the amount of power produced in each hit. The design on this paddle is quite attractive, featuring a purple chain-link background with orange contrasting colors. Poach Pickleball is written in white and orange letters in the center of the paddle’s face. An orange stripe runs horizontally across the lower face with “DUAL CORE” written inside. The manufacturer’s name is found just above the handle.

The Poach Pickleball Paddle by Engage provides lots of “oomph” in each hit thanks to its heavyweight of 8.2-8.7 ounces. This is a good-sized paddle measuring 15” from top to bottom and 7-3/4” from left to right. The medium grip has a length of 5”, providing players with the ideal amount of reach.

The Poach Pickleball Paddle is a revolutionary paddle concept perfect for those who on power.

Quality Control August 22, 2017
Reviewer: John Appelhans from Wheat Ridge, CO United States
Received my initial order to find the paddle's vinyl face had bubbled on both sides. Concerned over quality control systems at play (or not at play). Good part was phone agent seamlessly rectified the mistake by sending me a pre-paid return envelope. Second order produced a paddle with no bubbling.

Poach Dual Core December 31, 2015
Reviewer: Mike Qualls from Arnold, MO United States
Intermediate player. Under 20 games, impressive. Soft touch at the net for dinks with great control for drop shot. (Has the feel of a Paddletek Phoenix Pro, current favorite). Looking forward toward improving my play using this paddle, it's a quality paddle with a great handle and surface seems to have plenty of grip for spinning. Has the potential to become my new favorite!

Poach Paddle--a excellent choice September 28, 2015
Reviewer: Keith James from Gig Harbor, WA United States
The paddle is very good, even though I did eventually return it because the head heavy design aggravated I chronic shoulder of mine.  Buddies of mine who hit with it experienced no such effect, so I :') st consider it idiosyncratic to me.  I like the soft touch at the line, but I also was able to get the ball deep on both service and return with very little effort.  The small:') dad is ok a with me as I usually find the sweet spot with most paddles.  Pickleball Central was superb in its customer service, including correcting a small error of theirs promptly and professionally.  While not for me, the paddle will work for intermediate to to strong players in the 4 to 4.5 range.  Give it a whirl.  Think of a cross between a Champion Aluminum and and a Legacy.
