Blaster Graphite Pickleball Paddle
The Blaster Graphite has an extra-wide paddle face that competitive players love. The big paddle face of 8” and a handle of 5” long make this paddle a favorite at pickleball tournaments. The Graphite Blaster comes in one medium grip size which most players find fits their hand well. Hi, what’s your name?
I’m Christine Barksdale from Vancouver, Washington.
Great, and we’re here at the US OPEN Pickleball Championships and you’re a competitor here. What paddle did you choose to compete with?
I use the Pro-Lite Blaster.
Why that paddle?
You know what, I love it mostly for its touch. The ability for me to generate a little pace off of it and the little touch with the drop shots. I also really appreciate the weight so I feel like I have great reflexes up at the net.
Great Christine, thanks so much for talking with us.
Sure, thank you.

Hi, I’m Tim Camden from Leland, North Carolina.
Great Tim. What paddle are you playing with today?
I’m playing with the Pro-Lite Blaster paddle, specially designed for the Cape Fear region.
And what is it about the Blaster paddle that you like so much?
I like the graphite surface and core. I have a bad shoulder so it gives me a little bit more pop when I’m hitting it.
Great, thank you so much for talking with us today.
Thank you.

Hi, my name is Mark Friedenberg. They call me Yoda. I use two paddles in my matches. My Nationals, right now, I use a Magnum Graphite, even though it’s beat up. It has very good control and power. I also use a Rocket which is polypropylene core and it also has a fiberglass 20,000th of an inch thick skin and has a lot of pop. This one is 8.1 ounces (Rocket) and this is 7.2 ounces (Magnum Graphite) because I have a large swing, I usually use this (Magnum Graphite).
Thank you, Mark.
good paddle but know your style. Reviewer: Chuck Dorband from Loudon, TN United States Excellent quality in the construction. Surface is lively so knowing your dink touch is important. Not as hot as the whipper snapper but more lively than most composite paddles. Longer handle than many other paddles i have played which is good for strong wrist action even if you have large hands. Blaster Graphite Paddle Reviewer: J.C. from Fernandina Beach, FL United States I love my new Blaster Graphite paddle. I ordered another paddle first but the grip was too big so I sent it back and chose the Blaster Graphite after reading all of the reviews. The grip is perfect at 4 1/8 the sweet spot is large, weight is good for me at 7.6 and the quality of the paddle is excellent. I am very pleased. I have just started playing pickleball and love the sport and have not had this much fun in a long time! I am looking forward to using my Blaster frequently and plan to take it with me when I travel! The service was excellent both times around!!! Thank you Pickleball Central.....When I need a new paddle I will be ordering from you! It's a BLASTER! Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Fla. Her game improvd with this paddle . Ball flies off this paddle without much effort and is very easy to handle. Blaster Goodness Reviewer: Jeff from Bellevue, WA United States I am new to the sport and didn't know what direction to go to equip myself with a new paddle. David was quick to help me to find something that would be appropriate to grow into. The Blaster is lightweight and very quick. I find it is very responsive and quieter than many of the other paddles being wielded around me. The grip is a very comfortable Gamma grip. I have to confess that it may be that I am lacking the skill level to find the nuances between paddles, and at the same time, I am very happy with my Blaster. Well done Reviewer: Gregory Krolczyk from Palm Bay, FL United States Compared to my other paddle (a graphite Storm by Onix) this baby is slightly bigger, definitely lighter, and has a less POP (the ball definitely comes off the paddle with less velocity)! Having now played with the Blaster a few days, I can say I do think I like these differences. We'll see. Prolite Blaster Paddle Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Ames, IA United States In my opinion, the blaster paddle delivers good speed and is responsive to all types of shots. I have tried several paddles and prefer the blaster. Plays very well! Reviewer: Leslie Miller from Findlay, OH United States I wanted to find a lightweight paddle to fit my small grip and this one works wonderfully! Pickleball graphite blaster racquet Reviewer: David Breault from Hooksett, NH United States This a very balanced racquet - good for net play and for "feeling" each shot - this is my second one. Pickle Ball Paddle (Blaster) Reviewer: Gerald Crawford from Pismo Beach, CA United States Lightweight, Sturdy and.easy on the arm. Highly recommend this paddle to any level of player. Excellent - Best Racket for my needs Reviewer: Dr. Katherine Huston from Milton, DE United States Racket has perfect balance = light for easy maneuvers and solidly built so it strikes effectively. A superior paddle Reviewer: TechnoBob from Lancaster, PA United States After a few times with this paddle, I must say that I am quite impressed. The paddle has a very solid feel, even though very light in weight. The lively rebound seems to provide decent power, even without the weight of a more power-oriented paddle. The grip is a bit small. I would estimate a 4 3/8. With a gel wrap, it is perfect for me, as I use a 4 1/2 to 4 5/8. Highly recommended 1st time I've tried the Blaster Reviewer: Douglas Herdt from Syracuse, UT United States My partner has used a Blaster for over a year. I just bought one (and another for him). Paddle is so stinkin' light--I love it. It allowed me to return some shots that I have never got the paddle around on before...and it has incredible control for the soft game and crazy pop when you need to slam 'em. Blaster Graphite Reviewer: Anita VanOteghen from Geneseo, IL United States I like this paddle very much. The handle fits my hand and doesn't slip. I don't have to put as much effort into the swing as I used to. Great Paddle Blaster Graphite Paddle Reviewer: Pam Smith from Fresno, CA United States I understand why this paddle is so popular. Because it is lighter, I am able to respond that much faster to balls coming from any direction. My backhand has more oomph and my accuracy is much improved. Thank you for all your help in getting this new paddle in my hands so quickly!
