Copywriter/Marketing Assistant, Position can be remote.

We are seeking a copywriter to create product descriptions for use across several eCommerce properties. We work with many of the largest pickleball equipment companies in the industry and need a talented and versatile wordsmith to concisely describe the best qualities of everything from paddles to net systems, pickleballs, apparel, sports accessories and more. This can be a remote position.

Responsibilities
• You will produce engaging copy that enhances our customer experience and helps to drive engagement, traffic and conversion.
• You will also contribute to the development of other marketing materials including writing and editing blog posts, writing copy for social media content, email newsletters, and Amazon listings. Familiarity with both short and long-form content is required, and the ability to creatively and quickly write and edit content, keeping it relevant and fresh.
• You will collaborate with our team of product, merchandising and marketing experts to help keep our production pipelines running smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-directed and enthusiastic, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and varying deadlines.

Skills/Experience & Desired Qualities
• 3+ years relevant copywriting and eCommerce experience.
• College degree in English, Journalism or equivalent preferred.
• Highly functioning within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Autonomous and self-motivated while also being a collaborative and reliable team member.
• Friendly attitude: In addition to working with the Pickleball Central team, you may be asked to interview manufacturers, tournament organizers and other industry professionals to develop engaging content for our customers.
• Familiarity with some or all of the following tools: Volusion, Big Commerce or other eCommerce platforms, Wordpress, Amazon SellerCentral, Microsoft Office Suite, project management and email automation software.
• Quick learner: We have a tight and agile team that allows us to keep up with the rapidly changing online market and technologies. Adaptability and an eagerness to learn new systems helps us improve our workflow.
• Versatility: Pickleball is a fast-growing sport and we have successfully introduced the game to many demographics across various platforms. You will often need to repurpose content you've written to target different customers while keeping it fresh and engaging.
• Passion for pickleball: You will be working with the largest pickleball company in the world, so a love for the sport is a big plus! You will need to write from a player's perspective and develop an understanding of industry lingo. If you're new, we'll be happy to acquaint you with the game.

Website Merchandising Specialist, At-home/In-office Hybrid Position.

We are looking for a competent, detail-oriented person to implement the site merchandising strategy for products and categories across PickleballCentral.com to drive sales, promote key products and campaigns, and optimize the customer shopping experience. Drive sales and conversion rate by creating product and site experiences based on data, product priorities, merchandising expertise, and a desire to build a best-in-class customer experience. This role complies our digital asset integration and asset management (photos & video) strategy. This role partners closely with marketing, merchandising, planning, product development, and vendor relations resources to bring these opportunities to fruition. This position offers a hybrid work schedule of in-office and home-based tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day merchandising across Pickleball Central's home page, categtory pages, and product pages as directed by the Senior Site Merchant.
• Manage regular updates based on marketing campaigns, promotional calendar, and seasonal product priorities.
• Product listing creation on e-commerce platforms in a timely manner, including taking product photos, then preparing (sizing, cropping, etc.) and uploading product photos, integrating YouTube videos, SEO elements, and written content.
• Maintain and update Product Details Pages as needed.
• Edit images by retouching, cropping, color correcting, and general photo manipulation of product photography.
• Manage and maintain digital asset collection process, through the coordination of product image capture, video library, and digital asset management uploads including YouTube.
• Copy edit product descriptions and SEO elements per our internal Style Guide.
• Daily analysis and management of in-stock and out-of-stock products.
• Assist in execution of website specific marketing content pages (category pages, special landing pages, etc.).
• Test new features and functionality as needed.
• Update product data as requested from other cross functional partners, including product availability updates, price updates, etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience in eCommerce merchandising and/or building content for B2C e-commerce business; BigCommerce or Shopify experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), Google Docs, and Asana preferred.
• Basic Photoshop experience (image cropping, background manipulation, composite image creation, etc.).
• Product photography experience preferred.
• Bias toward delivering a best-in-class customer experience that aids in the digital purchasing journey.
• Detail-orientated, capable of handling multiple projects at once, adept in navigating ambiguity, and rapidly changing/competing priorities.
• Experience managing large amounts of detailed product data, content, pricing, image assets, etc.
• Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player and reliable collaborator, with a positive attitude!
• On a seasonal basis, this role may require the specialist to assist with other key business operations as are necessary to support peak load demands in the business (meaning, you enjoy wearing multiple hats!).

Accounting Coordinator, At-home/In-office Hybrid Position.

We are looking for an Accounting Coordinator for our growing department. The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for assisting the operations of the accounting department and serves as a liaison between the accounting staff and other departmental personnel or external parties. The coordinator helps with tax compliance and reporting, performs bookkeeping functions, and other administrative tasks as needed. This is a hybrid position with some in-office work required. This is a FT position with benefits.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with Accounts Payable, including post/process invoices into the accounting system.
• Validate payment requests for complete information.
• Assist with Accounts Receivables, including data entry, customer contact and collections.
• Assist with the review and reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers with general ledger control accounts including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Provide general administrative support to accounting functions, including filing, copying, scanning and file management of financial documents.
• Assist with special projects as requested.
• Assist with tax and compliance reporting, including 1099s.
• Maintain flexibility with work schedule and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED, AA in Accounting preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and disciplines.
• Previous Accounting, Billing, A/R, A/P, or other accounting/finance/billing experience required.
• Experience with ADP and Quickbooks Online preferred.
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Must have an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, and Word).

Returns Specialist - Pickleball Central Warehouse, Pickleball Central, 6250 South 196th St, Kent, WA 98032

Job Description:
We are seeking a Returns Specialist to process all returned products from our e-comm website PickleballCentral.com and tournament booth sales. If you can bring your positive attitude and willingness to jump in and get things done this is the opportunity for you. Typical tasks include:
• Process returned products in accordance with company procedures.
• Refund money to customers.
• Communicate with customers regarding return issues via email.
• Follow standard operating procedure to properly report each return. Attention to detail is required to ensure our returns data is accurate.
• Keep statistics and data on returned products.
• Make determination as to whether or not product can be resold. Work with manufacturers on defects.
• Troubleshoot issues and conflicts.
• Meet company and customer expectations to complete processes on time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High school education or equivalent. 1 year experience in Returns processing or warehouse work a plus.
• Organized – able to multi-task and move quickly from one task to the next.
• Detail orientated and accurate – reporting returns accurately to preserve data integrity is critical to this position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency – experience using MS Office and Google Docs. BigCommerce experience a plus.
• Willingness on occasion to assist warehouse with tasks/projects not directly related to returns.
• Be a self-starter with abity to prioritize tasks.
• Able to multi-task.
• Knowledge and passion for pickleball is a plus!

Full Time Schedule (two potential schedule options):
Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday
7:00 am to 3:30 pm OR 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Location:
This position will work onsite in our Kent warehouse. The warehouse is not insulated and has limited heating and cooling units. Temperatures can vary from 50 – 80 degrees.
