Graphic Designer
We are looking for an ambitious, multitalented graphic designer with a passion for simplicity and clarity in design who has the ability to weave multiple products into a cohesive story and layout creating a refreshed design experience across e-mail, social channels and digital media. In this role you will work with internal and external partners to provide creative and engaging visual solutions that enhance our customer experience; driving engagement, traffic, conversion and revenue. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic, with a track record of managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.

You’ll work with a CMO passionate about elevating the work, challenging the status quo, and driving success. You’ll collaborate with a stellar team of product, merchandising and marketing experts. The work will be wide and varied, the pace will be fast, but you’ll have a chance to grow and define the working group at Pickleball Central.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to conceptualize and execute creative briefs
• Responsible for leading the design and executions of marketing materials for the following mediums: email, social ads, digital advertising, event materials, internal collateral, website category/product page layouts and product infographics to be used in a variety of mediums
• Export web-ready assets to marketing team to import into Klaviyo/Constant Contact/Retention Science or other similar platforms
• Ensure product images and assets are categorized and managed correctly in the DAM
• Develop assets for multi-channel marketing and demand generation campaigns
• Find creative solutions for marketing and branding objectives specified in creative briefs delivered by the marketing, merchandising and eCommerce teams.
• Focus on the big picture of creative workflow, processes, and efficiency, and help develop design standards and best practices, while helping to maintain a consistent brand identity.
• Create designs for use in all aspects of our day-to-day digital and event retail operations, as well as internal projects and initiatives.
• Actively participate in brainstorming and help maintain a creative and fun design culture.
• Collaborate with marketing and digital product managers to make data-driven design decisions based on analytics and user feedback.

Skills/Experience
• 5+ years of relevant design and eCommerce experience, preferably in retail or startup environments
• High proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Digital experience: email design, display banner design, web/eCommerce, and social media design
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles – must have the ability to discuss and design responsively and mobile first
• Experience in design/coding email promotions/newsletters
• High functioning within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Maintaining file organization and implementing process and best practices.
• Brand-side retail experience is a plus
• Good organizational and time management skills needed to manage multiple projects simultaneously, tight turnaround times, scheduling conflicts, revisions and technical challenges.

Senior Marketing Manager - Social Media and Content Strategy
As our Senior Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the strategy development, operational implementation, distribution, and reporting, for Pickleball Central’s social media and content programs. The job is a dynamic mix of strategy, operations, advertising, creativity, and tactical execution. A successful candidate has strong experience with paid and organic approaches to social media programs, leading content creation inside and outside the organization (written and visual), and the development and strategic direction of content that is primarily featured in social and digital (i.e. Blog, eCommerce, paid media, email, etc.)

The ideal candidate can work closely with Marketing, Product, and Creative teams to provide them with strategic direction that pushes the brand and can balance growing engagement through diversified content while also driving traffic, conversion, and revenue. This role will help position Pickleball Central as a leader in the industry by creating a dynamic channel that engages people at every stage of the customer lifecycle.

Key priorities for this position are establishing and executing the Social and Content Strategies, the distribution and promotion of Pickleball Central product content, establishing channel initiatives - while driving acquisition of new customers, and the retention of existing Pickleball Central loyalists. This role will proactively define and deliver social media and content strategies, business plans and outcomes and collaborates with cross divisional departments to apply social and content insights and integrations to the broader business.

Responsibilities
Social and Content (Paid and Organic)
• Develops and owns the holistic social media strategy (creative ideation, publishing, community management, paid, organic, etc.), and leads the execution of it with a relentless desire for improvement and creativity
• Create, implement, and actively manage a social editorial calendar and process to drive content and marketing campaigns
• Develop strategic campaign creative briefs for channel and paid media assets
• Design, create, and manage product promotions and Social ad campaigns
• Develop and report on KPIs (i.e. engagement, clicks, ROAS, etc.)
• Identify and build target audiences
• Ability to build both acquisition and retention campaign strategies
• Build and execute A/B tests to improve channel performance
• Work closely with media agencies to develop digital paid media campaigns

Content Strategy
• Develop and lead product content strategies and calendars
• Lead development of a Content Contributor, Ambassador Program, and Branded Content strategy and execution
• Lead content integration and operational calendar with eCommerce and Email
• Actively works with the Merchandising team on key product and specialty product campaign promotion, integration, and key launches
• Own the overarching strategic direction and relaunch of the Pickleball Central blog and YouTube channel
• Maintain and plan against the blog publishing calendar

Topical Engagement
• Build conversation with other brands, brand partners, tournaments/tours, social influencers and media in the space
• Be on the look-out for brand appropriate content with the mindset to chime in/engage with it as a way to broaden the brands voice in social channels
• Lead social brand partnerships through identification and executions

Analytics and Reporting
• Social media report distribution to the internal team
o Collaborate with team to determine KPIs
o Build the reporting framework
o Gather context and send weekly/bi-weekly
• Analyze channel sentiment quarterly

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
• At least 7 years of social media and content strategy experience; an emphasis in paid social distribution, sporting goods, outdoor and retail related is a plus
• Strong PC and Mac computer skills
• Strong copywriting skills

Seeking Full-time and/or Part-time Customer Service Representatives to work from the office or, after training, their home. A month of training will take place in-person at our Kent, Washington headquarters at 22330 68th Ave. S., Kent, WA 98032. There will be ongoing, twice monthly in-person product training at our headquarters in Kent, Washington.

Job Days and Hours:
Full time 35 - 40 hours per week. Part time 20 - 25 hours per week.

Full Time Warehouse Associate, Pickleball Central, 22300 68th Ave. S., Kent, WA 98032
Seeking Full-time Warehouse Picker, Packer and General Laborer at a growing e-commerce business focused on the sport of pickleball.

Operations during COVID
We are running our warehouse during the pandemic following Governor Inslee’s Safe Start Washington Plan. We keep the number of people in the warehouse to a minimum. Facemasks are required. Temperature taken upon entrance to the building. We are a small and rapidly growing business focused solely on the great sport of pickleball, located at 22330 68th Ave. S., Kent, WA 98032.

Job Description
This is a physical job that requires movement throughout the workday. We are seeking someone with energy to quickly move from project to project with high productivity. Typical tasks include:
• Picking orders from warehouse stock, shelves, or bins
• Packing orders
• Entering shipping data and applying mailing labels
• Organizing products in warehouse shelves and bins
• Checking inventory levels
• Re-stocking from overstock. This may involve climbing a ladder to obtain boxes on upper shelves.
• Moving boxes around the warehouse using carts, manual pallet jack, and mobile shelving units and in the future, a forklift
• Working with the customer service team to assist with order issues.
• Meeting shipping deadlines.
• Assisting to unloading shipping containers. Sometime the contents are 25-pound nets system boxes. We typically receive a container a week.
• Building kits and shrink wrap pallets for transport to Amazon. This is repetitive work that must be accurate.
• Teamwork is key, reliability is required.

Requirements
• GED or high school diploma
• Responsible.
• Read and write English.
• Attention to detail.
• Care about the quality of work. Be an "owner" of assigned tasks.
• Physically able to meet the demands of this position and move quickly from one project to the next.

Tools, Equipment or Vehicles: (Items used in performing job duties)
• Manual pallet jack
• Stapler, repeated action stapling bag tops
• Heavy duty tape dispenser 3” – repeated action sealing packages for shipping
• Shrink wrap film roller to wrap pallets.
• Drive company van/truck
• Computer data entry
• Forklift – possible in future
• Truck driving for transport of pallets to and from satellite warehouse

Conditions inside the warehouse:
The warehouse is not insulated and has limited heating and cooling units. Temperatures can vary from 50 – 80 degrees.
Some corners of the warehouse have insects. An extermination service routinely services the warehouse, however there are some spider webs and occasionally other insects.

Inside: Almost all the time.

Outside: Briefly to assist with delivery and pickup of packages and freight.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Lifting and caring items: constantly 0- 25lbs, frequently 25-50lbs and occasionally 50lbs+.
• Retrieving / placing items on shelves involving squatting and/or reaching for items above shoulders.
