Phoenix Pro Pickleball Paddle

The Phoenix Pro Pickleball Paddle by Paddletek is a fantastic choice for beginners, pros, and everyone in between thanks to its classic shape and size. The lightly-textured vinyl face allows players to impart as much spin as their hearts desire, while the unique polymer honeycomb core provides quieter play without sacrificing any pop. This paddle has a vivid, color subtly enhanced with the Paddletek logo. The color itself makes its own strong statement.

The 7 3/4" wide face combined with the total length of 15-5/8" gives the Phoenix Pro Composite paddle a truly traditional shape. 5" of this length is taken up by the handle, which allows the remaining amount to be purely dedicated to the face. Players love that the edge guard only overlaps 1/8" of the almost-rectangle face, which gives them a smaller chance of mishitting due to the ball bouncing off the edge guard. The perfectly average grip is a great choice for players or for those who are unsure of their exact grip size. Weighing in at 8.4 to 8.85 ounces, this paddle provides players with effortless power.

The Phoenix Pro will undoubtedly give players that extra combative edge.

Please note: Grips sizes are approximate.

Available in the following colors: blue, red, purple, pink, orange, green, turquoise, yellow and black.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Hi, whatís your name? Iím Sara Yates. Where are you from? I am from Winston Salem, North Carolina. Great, and so weíre here at the US OPEN and youíre a competitor. What paddle are you choosing to compete with? I use Paddletekís Phoenix Pro Paddle . Why, that paddle? Itís my very first paddle so Iíve always had this paddle. I like the heaviness of it. Iíve tried lighter ones and I just donít feel like I get as much power with the other ones. Well, thank you so much for talking with us today. Thank you.

Transcript of Video #2 - Curtis

This is Curtis with Paddletek. This is the Phoenix Pro. This is the paddle that built our company. It is an 8 Ĺ ounce paddle. Polypropylene fiberglass composite. Known for its control and power, perfect balance. Nice big sweet spot, very forgiving when you miss the sweet spot, probably wonít even know. Hope you like it.

Great, and how come you chose that paddle?
Well, Iíve tried several and I really enjoy them. Theyíve got a really nice soft feel to them. Theyíre pretty whippy and give you some good pace on the ball too.

The paddle was not what I was looking for (I found the handle too small) and I returned it with no problem. I have subsequently purchased another paddle that I am happy with. I am very happy with Pickleball Central's customer service.

Really like the paddle. Has met or exceeded all expectations so far. Pickleball central service was excellent. Had paddle two days after ordering, and that was with free shipping.

Paddletech Phoenix Pro July 8, 2019
Reviewer: Dr. Lori from San Diego, CA United States
I love this paddle. I compared this paddle (8.4 ounce) with both Kinetic Ovation (8.4 ounce) and Kinetic Pro (8.1 ounce).  The balance point of the Phoenix felt like it was about an inch above the handle on the face of the paddle whereas the ovation felt like most of the weight was in the handle making the balance point right where the grip meets the face. The Kinetic Pro wasn’t even close in comfort so I didn’t spend much time with it. The final factor between theOvation and Phoenix was arm discomfort with certain shots.....no pain with the Phoenix: forearm discomfort with Ovation on overhead smash and third shot drop with backspin.
