PRIME Epic X4 FiberFlex Paddle

The PRIME Epic Paddle pairs control-centric materials with a longer handle and traditional shape. This gives players excellent maneuverability while retaining a sense of balance. FiberFlex material adds more power to the shock-reducing face and improves placement. Enjoy plenty of grip space and surface area so that you can maintain a solid hold on your paddle while directing the game at your own pace.

The PRIME Epic Paddle weighs 7.3 – 7.8 oz and has a medium circumference grip. The handle is 5-1/4” long, provided that extra bit of space for players with larger hands or those who like more of a tennis racquet-style feel. The design has a black background with a slightly distressed appearance, overlaid with the Selkirk logo in an attractive wash of color. To the lower right, the paddle’s name is written diagonally. Choose from thin or standard grip options.

The PRIME Epic Paddle will allow you to react faster and keep pickleballs under control no matter how hard you’re playing.

NOTE: Weights are calculated with a Standard grip. Choosing a THIN grip will reduce the weight by approximately .2 ounce

Available in the following colors: blue, green, purple and red.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Great information on line on all the racquets available.  The shipment was sent quickly.  I really like the racquet after using it several times.  Would definitely order from you again.

Good paddle July 31, 2019
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Siloam Springs, AR United States
Overall, I like the weight, good power.  However, I have to adjust my dinking game as the ball can tend to spring off the paddle, and can go higher than intended and enabling the opponents to put the ball away.

Good paddle for intermediate players July 16, 2019
Reviewer: Jeremy from Florida
Selkirk was very kind and replaced my first "real" paddle with the Epic X4 because it was the closest model to the discontinued one I had broken. So thank you for that!

I would say that this paddle is best suited for an intermediate to low advanced player (3.0-3.5) who doesn't play with or against very much power. I found it to perform as needed for me for, but it did not have some of the features that I needed at my level, or to compete against other players at a similar level (4.0-5.0). For me it is a little too light, and as a tennis player, I prefer to have a more textured paddle face to produce spin. I found slice pretty easy to generate with this paddle, but was never able to get the amount of topspin I desired with it. Also the lighter weight of the paddle made it more difficult to take the pace off of powerful shots coming from my opponent.

Overall I think that the X4 would be a very good paddle for a lot of players, but I feel like I "outgrew" it pretty quickly.
