If you want reach, you want the Encore Blade! This paddle stretches to a giant 17Ē, which is the maximum length allowed by the USAPA. Reach isnít the only thing youíll enjoy with this high level paddle, however. Youíll find the same skin used on the standard Encore covering the face, providing you with enhanced texture for spin and lots of pop. The ControlPro core allow you to angle every shot with ease and master the net game.
The Encore Blade has a slim 6-1/2Ē width with a corresponding small grip. The weight varies from 7.9 Ė 8.3 oz, giving you power when needed but staying light enough so you can react at the net. The handle is 5 1/8Ē long, giving you plenty of room to adjust your grip during play, unlike other long paddles on the market.
The Encore Blade from Engage is a unique paddle that sets the standard for length and control.
Here's a transcript of the video:
Iím Robert Elliott, one of the founders of Engage Pickleball here to present one of our newest paddles, the Encore Blade. Whatís so special about the Encore Blade is it maxes out the USAPA guidelines on deflection, which means power. It also maxes out the USAPA limit on surface roughness so you can get the most spin of any paddle. But we also maxed out on one other USAPA limit, which is the length. So the Encore Blade is 17 inches long, which is the longest paddle you can have. So with that in combination with the top deflection and the most surface roughness and our proprietary core that we developed to help hold the ball, you can generate more power and spin than any other paddle on the market. Thatís why itís the paddle of choice from 2015 National Champion Matt Blom and also 2015 bronze medalist in singles at the Nationals, Morgan Evans.
Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, can you tell us your name?
Where are you from, Paul?
The Villages, Florida.
And what paddle are you playing with?
Iím going to be playing the singles tournament with the Blade made by Engage.
Why? Why that paddle?
Well, I like the feel of it. Itís a little longer and you can get around the ball and as an ex-tennis player I find I can hit top spin with it, which is unusual in pickleball and you can slice with it. Itís a great paddle.
Thank you so much.
