Elite Pro Widebody Pickleball Paddle

The Elite Pro Widebody Pickleball Paddle has a giant sweet spot that will allow you to block even the most aggressive slams. With a 8-1/2" width, you have plenty of room to return pickleballs however you see fit, whether that's with a gentle dink or powerful swing. The paddle's shape moves the center of balance nearer to the handle, making it easier to maneuver and control. The chemically bonded skin on the surface contributes to touch and durability.

The Elite Pro Widebody Pickleball Paddle has a 7.5 - 7.8 oz weight range in the Lite design and 7.8 - 8.3 oz range in the Standard, so you can choose your ideal amount of heft. The handle is 5" long and has a medium circumference grip with a tacky finish to prevent slipping. The design has a colored background with two stripes running diagonally across the face. At the bottom, the paddle's name and Engage's logo are centrally placed.

The Elite Pro Widebody Pickleball Paddle gives you the ability to stop any pickleball in its tracks and send it back across the net a winner.

NOTE: LITE option will be available later this year.

Reviews of the Engage Elite Pro Widebody Pickleball Paddle by Pickleball Central Staff:

"As a teaching professional, I need to stay up to date on every paddle in our Pro Shop. I spent a couple hours with the new Elite Pro Widebody today, and here are my impressions. The first thing that struck me about this paddle is the balance. It has a very much grip biased balance. For a paddle of this weight (8.2 oz test model), I was surprised at how light at the head it felt. This gave me good hand speed. The next thing I noticed as that the sweet spot is wider (but a tiny bit shorter) than the regular Elite Pro. To be clear, the sweet spot is progressive, meaning it is 'hot' in the center and reduces in a linear way as you work out from the center of the face. Like the other Elite Pro series, this creates an incredible amount of power. If you like to hit the ball hard, but want a paddle with a bit more defensive blocking shape, then this is one you should definitely try."
Peter, Head Pro / IPTPA Certified Teaching Professional (5.0 Player)

"Paddle Up. If you are a player who loves blocking and taking control of the game by putting all your opponents hard shots back in play, you owe it to yourself to try an Engage Elite Pro Widebody. This paddle has the typical Engage build quality through and through. It is a solid core, the Elite Pro spin creating face and their 4 grip. It is the extra wide face 8 that sets this paddle apart. The shape creates a wider sweet spot (more of a true circular shape), making my blocks more consistent. I found it gave me confidence to cover the net against the bangers, and give me an offensive weapon to respond in kind. If wide is what you want go Elite Pro Widebody."

I just received this paddle and I love it...the only problem is I was only able to play with it once due to the current crisis. I look forward to using it again, sometime in the future. Good luck everyone!

I'm a 3.5+ player.  I play maybe a half a dozen tournaments a year.  I actually took lessons from Robert in Oxford last year and the guy knows all about the pickle.  Robert introduced me to the Elite Pro Wide Body and I did a good hit with a demo.  He was right. Bought one.  About to buy another.  This paddle has it all:  control, power, weight (F = MA), touch -- the whole enchilada.  Hey, maybe I can make it to 4.0.
