Elite Pro Maverick Pickleball Paddle

The Elite Pro Maverick Paddle is the result of Engage's collaboration with pro player Ben Johns. This long paddle only minimally reduces its width to accomodate the extra reach, meaning players enjoy a sweet spot that extends throughout almost the entire paddle. You get an incredible amount of playable surface area across the face and an impressive amount of "solidity," which creates additional torque at fast speeds while maintaining control at the net.

The Elite Pro Maverick Paddle is 16-1/2" long and 7-1/2" wide, hitting an accomodating balance in its dimensions. The grip length is an incredible 6", allowing for double-handed backhands and extensive manueverability. It has a textured skin with two different weight classes and designs that come in several color options which highlight two diagonal stripes across the paddle's face.

The Elite Pro Maverick Paddle provides an extra long paddle and handle which will allow players to effortlessly respond to any pickleball flying across the court.

I think I finally found the one April 7, 2019

I love the longer handle as I feel at "home" because of the resemblance to a tennis racquet and I have more reach with it.  It weighs in at 8.2 and I think I might have liked a little heavier for those overhead mashes but this present one gives me quick moveability at close in volley.  The textured surface is perfect for my spin game.

The paddle delivers a solid hit, adds spin to your spin shots, and the longer handle makes the paddle feel more balanced in head- handle proportion. I love it!

Long Buggy Whip! March 19, 2019
Reviewer: John from Anacortes, WA United States
The Maverick Elite Pro paddle is about 1/2" longer than normal, and slightly but not noticeably narrower.  It has great balance and low rotational inertia while still having enough concentrated weight in the head to drive the ball.  I love the longer handle and more tennis-like grip, allowing greater shot selection.  Great racket if you like more power while retaining finesse.  PB Central selected my preferred weight and color, and were once again great to work with.

Solid paddle March 5, 2019
Reviewer: Jay from Springfield, MO United States
As others have said, this is a solid paddle - there's not a dead spot anywhere on the face. Coming from racquetball, I like the added length - even though it's only a half inch to an inch longer than most paddles, it makes a big difference to me. And it's wide enough to block the hard body shots my regular opponents like to slam. The only complaint I have is that I wish the handle were thinner. Again, coming from racquetball I'm used to 3 5/8 inch handles. The only choice on this paddle is 4 1/4.
