Elite Pro Maverick Pickleball Paddle

The Elite Pro Maverick Paddle is the result of Engage's collaboration with pro player Ben Johns. This long paddle only minimally reduces its width to accomodate the extra reach, meaning players enjoy a sweet spot that extends throughout almost the entire paddle. You get an incredible amount of playable surface area across the face and an impressive amount of "solidity," which creates additional torque at fast speeds while maintaining control at the net.

The Elite Pro Maverick Paddle is 16-1/2" long and 7-1/2" wide, hitting an accomodating balance in its dimensions. The grip length is an incredible 6", allowing for double-handed backhands and extensive manueverability. It has a textured skin with two different weight classes and designs that come in several color options which highlight two diagonal stripes across the paddle's face.

The Elite Pro Maverick Paddle provides an extra long paddle and handle which will allow players to effortlessly respond to any pickleball flying across the court.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Transcript of Video #1 - Michelle Esquivel

Hi, I'm Michelle Esquivel and I'm reviewing the Maverick. The Maverick is a great paddle. It has a long face, a long handle, you can grip the ball really well. You can feel the spin coming off when you hit the ball and it's great for blocking.

Transcript of Video #2 - Jason Pauley

Hey, I'm Jason Pauley. I'm big into Engage and enjoy the Maverick with the long handle and the weight of the paddle. I feel like I can get really good topspin and I enjoy it in singles play. I feel like I can get a great ground stroke on that.

I usually don’t give reviews on products but had to make an exception on this paddle. It has everything I was looking for. It feels good and playability is very good. Liked the the feel and response. I liked the extra length has it gives me more options.

5 of 5 Awesome Paddle October 6, 2021
Reviewer: Marmy Kodras from Phoenix, AZ United States
This paddle is incredible! I'm still a newbie to pickleball, close to a year, and have gone through about 3 different paddles so far to find one that suits the way I play. This one gives you great control and power and you know where your ball is going.

4 of 5 Elite Pro Maverick PB paddle October 4, 2021
Reviewer: Larry from Sherwood, WI United States
Bought this for my wife who was using my Pouch Extreme while I was recovering from surgery.  She liked it but not well enough to give me back my extreme.

4 of 5 Not for weak wrists August 15, 2021
Reviewer: Jeff from Mount Laurel, NJ United States
I can’t complain about a paddle that top pros use. I only found that I had trouble maneuvering the paddle quickly enough. If I had a two handed backhand, it might have been different for me. Maybe choose the lightweight version if you are a one-hander without strong wrists.
