Elite Pro Blade Pickleball Paddle

The Elite Pro Blade Pickleball Paddle gives you the incredible reach of typical "blade" styles but maintains a sizable sweet spot that is sometimes difficult to attain with other blade models. This paddle is 17" long, making it easier than ever to cover a large amount of the court and help reach shots that may you would miss with a traditionally shaped paddle. The sweet spot is situated closer to the top of the paddle, but even if you hit near the center or sides, the reactive face will send pickleballs over the net with ease. Being a longer shape, the balance of the paddle is higher on the face, so the paddle feels heavier (because the weight is farther away from the grip.) The longer shape allows you to create more head speed, which combined with the higher sweet spot, can generate incredible power.

The Elite Pro Blade Pickleball Paddle has a 5" handle length. Despite its face size, meaning you'll still have plenty of room to adjust your grip and comfortably hold the paddle. The grip circumference is a medium size which offers cushioning and a tacky surface. A proprietary surface skin adds to durability and the excellent touch. The paddle has two diagonal lines that decorate the face near the top.

The Elite Pro face material has a reputation for being able to impart a great amount of spin on a ball. This is true of the entire Elite Pro line including the Blade. This paddle is built for players with an aggressive approach to the game, or players seeking a longer reach. The Elite Pro Blade Pickleball Paddle gives you outstanding reach, power and spin so that you can dictate the flow of the game.

Reviews of the Engage Elite Pro Blade Pickleball Paddle by Pickleball Central Staff:

"I get to test every paddle on the market, and I have to say that the Elite Pro Blade feels like the most solid elongated blade paddle I've ever hit. The sweet spot feels like it starts about the middle of the face and extends up towards the top. Since you want to use the extra reach and the extra head speed of the longer paddle, the sweet spot being higher up the paddle makes it an incredible offensive weapon. The Elite Pro face material keys in wonderfully with higher end tournament balls. The overall feel and build quality on this paddle are fantastic. Because of it's length and shape, I found that I could really angle some power dinks with this paddle, and hammer volleys at full swing extension. This paddle is for people who have great hand/eye coordination, and maintain a tight shot pattern on their paddle face. If that is you, this paddle can be an absolute game changer."

"The original Engage Encore Blade is still (in my opinion) the most powerful paddle in the game. It's fiberglass face with the original Encore core makes the ball fly. I was excited to see what the similar shape and paddle core would play like with the Elite Pro skin. The Elite Pro Blade is a full 7" wide (whereas the original Encore Blade is only 6.5" wide), so I found this yielded a wider sweet spot than the Encore Blade. To be very clear, I need to assure you that the Elite Pro Blade Paddle has tons of power, but the increased control and ball shaping is what really stuck out to me. Being a bit "vertically challenged", I like the blade shape for the extra reach. I play a more control oriented game and found the Elite Pro Blade gave me some control with that Engage power. I was able to hit some top spin serves that really dipped over the net. On my dinks, I was able to keep the ball low and in the kitchen. When you use this paddle with a high-end tournament ball (like the DURA), this paddle gives you incredible spin capabilities. While this is not a beginner paddle, anyone looking for an elongated paddle with a little longer grip that provide a nice combination of punch and touch, try the Elite Pro Blade. "

This was my first purchase from pickleball central and I must say I am extremely satisfied. The entire transaction was painless and easy. My new paddle was shipped quick and without any issues. The paddle (Engage Elite Pro Blade) is an excellent paddle for the intermediate player.

5 of 5 Great paddle! February 11, 2020

A friend introduced me to pickleball and recently watched me play after a few months.  He said I use the top part of the paddle like playing ping pong and I need to practice hitting the ball in the middle of the paddle.  At age 63, I decided to use this paddle instead and I have increased my confidence and decreased hitting the ball with the top edge.  As great for spins as my old paddle.
