Dura Big Hole Pickleballs

Dura Big Hole Indoor Pickleballs are identical to customer-favorite Dura Outdoor balls, except the size of the holes are larger making the ball a little lighter than the outdoor version. These indoor balls are made with the same smooth, hard plastic as their outdoor counterparts. They are seamless, and were created with a one-piece construction mold. Once the balls are cooled, the holes are drilled out.

The Dura Big Hole Indoor ball has a 2.9375 diameter and weighs in at 0.92 ounces. These balls have a good average bounce height of 31.

This ball is great for players who enjoy playing with the hard-plastic outdoor balls but want a ball that is a little lighter.

Available in the following colors: yellow, neon green, white, orange or mixed (all four colors).

Dura Big Hole Indoor Ball September 14, 2019
Reviewer: David Edwards from NC
Looked at several possible balls but our group plays twice a week indoors. Got a dozen Dura Indoor Ball and played with them not right away but sat them for a good while as we were using another brand at the time. We noticed these were harder than the Jugs Indoor Balls we had been using but decided to give them a try. After about a month as our group plays twice a week, some players noticed cracks around the holes. In one night we had eight of the dozen crack around the holes and when I asked Pickleball Central about it they said that the lifespan of that ball was 10-13 hours of hard continuous play.  We will not be getting anymore Dura Big Hole Balls as we expected a bit more. We are playing with the orange Onix fuse balls now and are happy with them

Use more pigment September 11, 2019
Reviewer: Jim Jeffries from Winchester, TN United States
I know these balls are highly popular, but for indoor use they need bolder coloring.  I have the yellow and a friend has the orange and both are very translucent and anemic in color.  Not all indoor spaces are brightly lit, so spring for a little pigment in these balls.

Thought our group would give it a try! May 29, 2019
Reviewer: David Edwards from EDENTON, NC United States
Our Pickleball group gets together twice a week. We have used a softer more flexible ball which gives more control and spin during play. We were impressed and feel the Dura Big Hole will last a long time and in time we will be able to adapt how to play and spin this ball. When I heard the United States Pickleball Association used the Dura Ball at their outdoor tournaments and found out how the holes were drilled after the ball was cured. We were in favor of trying this ball. Not in two halves glued together, but one solid ball with holes drilled in after being tempered and molded. Takes a little to get used to but in time we are sure these indoor pickleballs will last a long time!

Not a wooden floor indoor ball May 24, 2019
Reviewer: Frei from Baraboo, WI United States
We love the onix pure orange indoor Pickleball, however, they are no longer available.  We tired the Dura Big Hole and the balls were not approved by club members.  Slippery/greasy ball surface and did not perform well on a wooden basketball court floor.  Back to square one to find a ball they all approve of.
