The lighter paddle presents power and control problems after being used to heavier paddles. Reflex time does not materially improve with 1.5oz difference. I would not pay the extra money again for the lighter graphite paddle. I do like the smaller grip, however, this is not unique to the Aero-D. The Aero-D is a fine, light, small grip paddle, but it did not improve my game through improved reflex response time and I lost some power and control due to lighter weight.

Love the weight and feel of this paddle. I like the fact that the edges aren't dead - that the ball responds well even on the outside portion of the paddle

paddle gives me power when i need and touch when that is called for. the ball pops off the paddle with great control.
