X-26 Performance Indoor Pickleball by Franklin

The X-26 Performance Indoor Pickleball is a supremely durable ball that uses high quality EVA material for exceptional bounce and responsive feel. The 26 holes are beveled so that the ball flies true in the air and maintains balance. The overall construction contributes to many hours of solid play on the courts and eliminates the risk of early breakage.

The X-26 Performance Indoor Pickleball is USAPA-approved for indoor tournament play. It has a 26 gram weight and 74 mm diameter. The bright color options make it highly visible regardless of lighting and court conditions, whether you're playing on a gym floor, standard finishing, or concrete.

The X-26 Performance Indoor Pickleball is a consistent and long-lasting choice for players who want an adaptable and officially-sanctioned ball.

  • Not Good for Hardwood Gym Floors

The X-40 is hands down my favorite outdoor ball so I am not anti-Franklin or anything like that. Unfortunately, these balls skid like crazy on hardwood gym floors. The ball will come in and bounce but stay low and speed up. I played with the blue color which does show up against the floor but frequently gets lost around waist level - that's a major problem. I am sure there is a floor these must be designed for but it is definitely not a hardwood gym floor. ***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! These balls crack very easily. I've probably thrown away a dozen in the last 3 weeks.***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! • Bought for indoor at our Rec Center

These balls had no bounce, "dead", my plans were to replace the indoor balls at our Rec Center to start our Cold Weather season (more indoors). 12 people c/o these, asking "Where are the old balls", so I switched them back. Not sure what to do with these balls, thinking about taking them to Second Chance Dog Shelter. I have used Franklin before. I emailed Pickleball Central to see if they knew of any issues but never heard back from.***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! • Counter-sunk holes are bad design, plastic low quality

Spend your pickleball dollars elsewhere. I've bought 6 of these balls (2 cans of 3), and the quality is severely lacking. In one game (we don't smash very much) we split 2 of these balls down the seem. Even when new, they bounce weirdly off the large indented holes. The counter-sunk holes look neat visibly, but I think they affect the bounce and grip of the ball. Overall the design and plastic construction is poor. I've played with cheaper china-plastic crap indoor balls that were much better. Franklin needs a new indoor ball line. Their X-40 is superb. Disappointed with the X-26.

I ordered orange balls and the bag said they're orange, however, they've very light and look pink. My friends said they're Barbie balls. Wouldn't buy again.

These balls are rubber balls and not worthy to be used indoors or outdoors. I'm so disappointed in them. Definitely won't be using these or even purchasing more!
