Despite its smaller size, Vulcan has taken this paddle's development seriously for the sake of aspiring young picklers everywhere! Made with a durable fiberglass face, this paddle has a reliable feel with the strength and consistency needed for skill development.The Vulcan V300 Youth Paddle is about 2/3 the size of a typical adult paddle, measuring 13 3/4" long, with a 4" handle length, and 3 1/2" grip circumference. This makes it easier for kids to handle while still offering a traditionally-effective paddle face shape. It also has a light 6.5 – 6.9 oz. weight range, which helps players users benefit from quick reactions without tiring the arm and shoulder.

This is the perfect paddle for my nine-year-old grandson who is learning how to play. It is very well constructed and looks like a regular adult paddle, and not at all like a kid’s paddle. Exactly what I was looking for.

Purchased for my 6 yr old grandson. Paddle indicated for ages 8-12. Easy to use since its has a small grip and the paddle is very light. If the paddle had a larger hitting surface, it would have been perfect. .

My 7-year-old grandson loves it as it is perfectly lightweight for his age compared to his first heavyweight wooden Franklin paddle that I didn’t know it was for adults when I bought it for him. I tried it for the first time and ended up having the sore shoulder. For years, I have been using Paddletek’s Tempest Wave paddles.
