Oneshot Pickleball Pureshot Brian Ashworth Series Paddle

The Pureshot Brian Ashworth Series Paddle is a highly adaptable choice that can be used by picklers with a variety of play styles, but is primarily centered around responsiveness, balance, and control. It is the first paddle from Oneshot to feature a highly textured face that sits just at the boundary of USA Pickleball regulations so that players can enjoy an easier ability to add spin to their shots for technical precision. It uses high quality carbon fiber to create a great sense of touch and reactivity that lends itself to dynamic action.

The Pureshot Brian Ashworth Series Carbon Fiber Paddle features a polymer core with an above-average thickness at 16mm (0.63"), which reduces shock and impact vibration in addition to allowing for a wide sweet spot and greater forgiveness of mis-hit balls. The edge guard only overlaps the face minimally at 1/8" so that players can enjoy plenty of surface area. The paddle's weight ranges from 7.9 - 8.3 oz, with great balance and acceptable power, and the grip has a medium circumference (4-3/8") to provide comfort and paddle control.

The Pureshot Brian Ashworth Carbon Fiber Series Paddle by Oneshot Pickleball is a strong offering that will support high level play and add a competitive edge to your game.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Professional pickleball player Brian "The Beard" Ashworth recently made the move to Oneshot sponsorship, and was instrumental in the development of the new Pureshot paddle. After some time away from competing, we asked him why he felt the time was right to return to the sport and why he felt compelled to align himself with Oneshot Pickleball. Here's what he had to say...

"To answer the question, I would say that after playing so much pickleball and competing against some of the best players in the world, I was getting burned out. I took a good and needed break to work on fitness and get my head right. After about a year I really started to miss it! At about the same time, Oneshot reached out to me and mentioned a new paddle they were working on and, knowing my style of play, thought I might like it. They were absolutely right. The first time I hit with it was in a round-robin mini tournament with friends, and I was on fire with my new weapon. That paddle eventually became the Pureshot, and Oneshot became my new home. Both the paddle and the company really helped me reignite my passion for the sport of pickleball. The paddle itself, as the name suggests, is just pure. It is absolutely beautiful and has a great feel to it. Also, one great quality that impressed me about Oneshot is the family aspect. It’s a close-knit group of people that genuinely care about players and pickleball. I couldn't be happier."

I absolutely love my Pureshot! It gives me the soft game I love and I am still able to generate power to put away shots. I highly recommend!

The good first, I have played exclusively with this paddle over the last 3 months and it has held up extremely well considering the excessive amount of play. This paddle does well in the kitchen with a soft response and feel. The negative is that it is not a power paddle. It is a great intro paddle for the money. I would definitely buy a used one if the price was around $50 for a backup paddle. If you are a beginner this paddle is a good choice being on the softer side to learn the game. I seen people buy power paddles in the beginning and the ball is flying everywhere and not to speak of pop ups.

I really like this paddle! Excellent feel and control, large sweet spot, and plenty of power when you want it. Easy to spin the ball. Great paddle for the "soft" game. I have fairly long fingers, and I like the larger than average diameter handle, but if you have small hands, you may not.

Really solid paddle. Good balance, very forgiving on mishits, power when you need it. If you are looking for an all court paddle this one is as good as it gets.

Paddle has great touch. I'm mid 30's and 6'2" so power wasn't my concern. It does take more to get the ball moving, but if you don't have a problem generating your own power, then this is a good option.

I am fairly new at PBall. This is my second paddle which is the main reason for 4 starts. I do not know how much better they may get. My first paddle was based on price to learn if I would like the game. I really enjoy it so I decided to try a $100+ paddle. It is definitely an improvement. More lively than my less expensive paddle. I will be interested in how long it will keep the bounce.
