The Gravity Pickleball Paddle is an innovative offering that combines some of the best features on the market. The thick core creates consistent play and a reactive feel that’s gentle yet provides great touch. It also results in an extra large sweet spot that allows you to take advantage of the paddle’s entire face. The surface is a mixture of composite and graphite materials that blend control and power, with the addition of a tri-axial pattern that adds spin to any shot.
The Gravity Pickleball Paddle has a medium-sized grip with a 4-1/2” handle length. It has a unique handle stabilizer that improves its strength and stability. Players will also benefit from dampened vibrations. The grip has EVA material inlaid to provide a soft feel, less jostling and comfortable playability. The paddle is offered in two weights: Lite-7.6 oz average or Standard-8.1 oz average, so you'll be sure to find the perfect fit for your style of play.

"This is a VERY nice paddle. After testing this for a day, it has become my favorite paddle. "I find when I use a new paddle I need a couple of weeks to “break it in” and “really get a feel”for it. The HEAD Gravity paddle bypassed those steps. In a weird way it immediately felt like both a brand new paddle as well like an old trusty paddle I can always rely on. There is something unique about the amount of cut put on the ball. The Gravity allows me to cut, slice, and topspin the ball exceptionally well. It has an enormous sweet spot, one of the largest I've ever experienced. They've created a large sweet spot without losing the power. I preferred the standard weight (I like my paddles in the 8.0 - 8.1 ounce range) and I was able to general incredible rips on the ball. HEAD is famous for the quality of the handle and grip. Sometimes thick core paddles (which the HEAD is) can feel odd in your hand, but not so with the Gravity. The handle shape and grip quality is best in class. My summary: It's a pro-quality paddle that competes with the best in the industry. Enormous sweet spot, and great grip. It’s a game changer."

"I really like the slightly teardrop shape of the HEAD Gravity paddle. The shape and core construction combine to create a very large sweet spot. The paddle feels slightly top heavy in a good way, adding power without extra paddle weight, while feeling extremely well balanced. It gives me plenty of power without having to use a heavy paddle. My test session was with the Gravity LITE which weighs 7.6 oz. The paddle's weight and balance felt very nimble during quick exchanges at the kitchen, it gave me excellent hand speed. "I had the pleasure to preview the new Head Gravity and Gravity Lite Paddles. I apologize for the long review, but I have to say the performance of this paddle was so unexpectedly good, I felt like I had to gush about it! My current paddle is one of the more famous graphite face/poly-core paddles on the market. I'm used to spending $120 - $160 for a high-end graphite paddle. The Head Gravity Paddle instantly felt comparable to my existing graphite in the way it felt and handled. That sensation evolved quickly. After a few minutes of play, it started to create some separation in performance from my current (formerly?) favorite paddle. I knew within five minutes the Head Gravity would be my next paddle. I have been playing consistently and competitively for about three years. The Head Gravity Paddle gave me what my other paddles haven't.....more control. My drives and returns immediately felt good, strong and consistent. My dinks were light, controlled and consistent. My drops were on target, laser sharp and low.
The paddle has a slight teardrop shape which might take a little getting used to (more on that in a minute). The paddle surface is called a 'hybrid' hitting surface, a combination of graphite and composite fiber giving the best of both worlds, for durability and maximum control. For me, the 3D spin textured surface expanded my ability to work a ball, while maintaining solid control. The face has a tiny diamond plate looking texture to it. This allowed me to put lots of spin and a change of direction easily leaped off the paddle face.
I have been searching for a new paddle for months. I have tested a lot of paddles. I was looking for a better grip and improved control on the ball. I definitely found it here. The sweetspot from the combination of the hybrid face and polypropylene Core gave the paddle a very nice solid pop. I'll refer to it as in the goldilocks zone not too little, not too much, but just right. The lite as you would expect didn't have as much power, but the gravity standard had more than enough power for me. The sweet spot felt good and the majority of my hits were clean and pure all around the entire face of the paddle. The only time I had any issues with this was when it hit closer to the handle, likely from the slight teardrop design but I suspect I'll get used to that. The size of the grip 4.25 around and 4.75 long and was very comfortable for me. The material on the grip was very comfortable and was easy to hold onto even in warm temperatures with a sweaty hands. The graphics on the paddle face are clean with different colors on each side. It is a good-looking Paddle. I played with both but I will likely stick with the Head Gravity Lite as I am used to a lighter paddle. My current paddle is a 7.6 oz my new Head Gravity Lite also weighs in at 7.6oz. The standard Head Gravity weighs in at 8.1 oz. Head which of course is a brand that has been well-known for other racket sports may very well have found a winner in the Pickleball world with this paddle. My only caution with this paddle is the way the paint on the face of the paddle wears - it does flake off a bit rather quickly, but it doesn't affect the performance, so I'm totally OK. Many graphite paddles do this. See photo below after a few hours of play."

This paddle is more power than control. It's not overpowering though. It's not good, it's not bad. It just is... average. I am returning it because I want more feel than this paddle provides. It is probably a good deal for $95, but I'd rather keep looking for something that I love.

switched from a more expensive Gearbox paddle. Gravity has touch and power and ability to spin and slice. Very happy for now.

Wanted to like it, but it lacks power and lacks touch. Not happy with touch on dinks, particularly from deep on 3rd shot (return of the return of serve)

I'd like to say that I feel a difference between this paddle and a cheaper paddle, but I don't. In fact, it feels heavy and I've had tennis elbow since I started using it.

I wanted to upgrade my paddle but didn’t want to spend $150. At its sale price, this is a fantastic paddle. The texture gives you some added spin and it is fairly lightweight (so easier on my wrist and elbow). Good quality, soft grip.

This is a very nice paddle. I had a Z5 but the face wore down and it lost all traction. This paddle has much more grit vs a new Z5. I went with lighter version and slimmer handle. The Z5 has a bit more power, so the standard weight might be preferred if you want more power.
