Thick 16mm polymer core and carbon fiber face deliver control, while gritty surface spins balls like few others.

Middleweight/Small Grip

Diadem Warrior Edge Carbon Fiber Paddle

The Diadem Warrior Edge Pickleball Paddle from Diadem features a 16mm (0.63") thick core, which is thicker than most paddles but slimmer than the original Diadem Warrior (which happens to be the first 19mm thick paddle ever introduced to the pickleball paddle market). This allows the Warrior Edge to retain high-performance power with more speed and maneuverability than its predecessor. With a polymer honeycomb composition, the control-oriented thick core also contributes to fewer impact vibrations so players can maintain a steady hold on their paddle during quick exchanges.

The Warrior Edge Pickleball Paddle weighs in at 7.8 – 8.2 oz., keeping it comfortably in the midweight range. It has a small 4-1/8" grip circumference, which is easily fattened up a bit with an overgrip. The handle length is 5" which provides a pleasant amount of room for most players. Its surface is composed of etched carbon fiber which aligns vertically to "bite" the ball (and won't wear down like a gritty painted surface), enabling you to utilize spin more easily on your cuts, slices and spin serves. Finally, the Aero Guard edge guard accelerates air flow across the thickness of the paddle, resulting in quicker resets and a more durable edge guard overall with valleys and ridges to absorb impact.

The Warrior Edge Carbon Fiber Paddle from Diadem mixes power with comfort so you can play hard and come back for more.

Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8".

Diadem Warrior Edge Review by Pickleball Central Staff:

"The Warrior Edge from Diadem has some of the best qualities from each of their current paddles in the line-up, combined into one dynamic paddle. The 16mm one piece core echoes the Warrior with soft play. The thinner (for a Warrior) core does give the Edge more power than the original Warrior (though not quite as much as Diadem's Icon). And finally, the etched carbon surface grabs the ball and makes shaping shots easier. At an average of 8.0 oz. it is more maneuverable than it's bigger brother and makes defense at the net a little easier. Now, based on your play style, there is a Diadem pickleball paddle for you:

I've played with this paddle for 2 weeks now. It's very comfortable and gives me the power and control I was looking for. It is much quieter than my last paddle which is a nice benefit. The most unique feature is its edge guard. It is ribbed and therefore much thicker than other paddles' edge guards.

I love this paddle. It gives me a lot of pop and I’m hitting the ball with more power with a lot less effort. The texture on the paddle also helps with spin which is a nice surprise. I’ve used several paddles and this is by far my favorite. Also, it arrived right on schedule! Thanks Pickleball Central’

I would give this paddle 6 stars for playability if I could. I love, love, love this paddle. From the first time I held it, the handle just fit me perfect. I love the control and touch that I have when using the paddle. So why 4 stars? The edge guard is coming loose in one corner. I just bought this paddle July 20, 2023. It is October 4 and the paddle is damaged. If the ball hits there, no telling where it is going. Ok - it shouldn't be hitting there anyway - but.....sometimes that is what I have to work with. I did register the paddle when I bought it, including the receipt, serial number and photos of the paddle. I emailed the warranty and they dont see the damage and need more photos (thats fine) AND my receipt. Then why did I send you a copy of the receipt when I registered it? The warranty parts cost them a star in service after the sell. The paddle itself is FABULOUS but I absolutely dont want to drop $200 every 2 1/2 months for a new paddle.

Virtually no dead spots, and a surface that grips the ball very well as advertised. I can no longer blame my paddle for any of my missed shots.

I am a senior citizen probably 3.0 who plays 4-5 times a week, primarily on community center gym courts. I am a bit of a equipment geek and have tried a number of paddles. The Warriors Edge had the best reviews I have seen, so I gave it a try. . I was a little concerned that the Warrior Edge's slightly elongated shape might make the sweet spot smaller. As a senior citizen, a large sweet spot is very important. However, the Diadem Warrior Edge has be best combination of large sweet spot, control, and pop that I have found so far. I really like the paddle.

I've been playing about 16 months and it was time to try a new paddle. I play at about a 3.75 - 4.0 level and play a combo control/power game. I both borrowed several paddles from friends and ordered 5 new paddles to demo. The Edge had the best feel of any of them. Every hit seems solid and balanced. I feel like it elevated my game after using for just a few times. Finding the right paddle isn't easy given all the choices but other reviews and rating led my to try this one and glad I did.
