The Xtreme Pro Series Composite Paddle pairs a textured face with a polymer core to create a spin-centric paddle that's dangerous to the opposition. The above average 16" length gives you more opportunities to reach across the court while the comfortable grip is inlaid with EVA material for a softer feel. This also dampens the vibration caused by balls to help prevent "pickleball elbow" or other overuse injuries.
The Xtreme Pro Series Composite Paddle uses an optimized construction of the inner honeycomb core for a consistent feel and incredible control. The medium grip is 5" long with a width of 7-7/8" on the face. The unique head shape gives it a broader sweet spot. This paddle comes in red and black with a black grip.
The Extreme Pro Composite Paddle proves that being a "control freak" can be a good thing... at least when it comes to pickleball!
Here's a transcript of the video: Hi everyone. Sarah Ansboury here. I’m your 2016 US OPEN Women’s Doubles Champion and Mixed Doubles Champion, as well as pickleball coach. I am here to talk to you today about these amazing paddles. This right here is the HEAD Xtreme Pro. Like the other paddles in this series, we have this amazing diamond control shape. With this diamond shape, you actually get a little bit more space near the ground, which is really, really cool. This is a fiberglass surface. With that, you’re going to get a little extra pop out of it, along with what we call extreme spin. The grab on this is crazy. Now one of my favorite things about this paddle, this is so cool. Instead of it having two separate wood pieces that kind of crunch together, well this goes into a mold. This is one single piece. What that means is it’s going to be a much more secure and stable paddle overall. I really encourage you to check these out in the demo program. And if you don’t like this weight, well try another weight in the series and you’re probably going to find something you do like. Okay? Good luck!
Reviews of the Head Xtreme Pro by PickleballCentral Staff:
"I wanted to familiarize myself with the HEAD paddles, and it seemed like this weight and style would suit me best. The grip is on the tackier side and the overall balance of the paddle is nice. I had to adjust to the feel a bit, but I found that using full strokes (instead of dinking) felt best.
Once I was more familiarized with the design, I was able to work in softer shots and add spin. The Xtreme Pro has just the right amount of power, and I really think those with a tennis or racquetball background will like how much speed it generates from full swings. Nice mix of power, control and texture".
