If you are looking for a lightweight pickleball paddle with great touch, you will love the Stratus Composite Pickleball Paddle. Made by the esteemed manufacturer Paddletek, this is the “little sister” of the ever-popular
Power Play Pro, differing only in weight. This paddle is made with a honeycomb polymer core, and includes a thin 1/8” edge guard which wraps around the entirety of the perimeter of the paddle. The core is topped by a tough fiberglass face with a fun geometric pattern.
The Composite Stratus paddle is considered to have a small grip circumference. The 5” long handle is wrapped in the Gamma Ultra Cushion Grip, and players will love how it feels in their hand. This paddle shares the same unique tapered shape as the Power Play Pro, and at its widest point, the face measures 7-3/4” wide. This is a shorter paddle, but it packs a lot of pop in its 15-1/2” length. The lightweight range of this paddle starts at 6.8 ounces and reaches 7.3 ounces at the highest, meaning players have a fantastic amount of control.
Available in the following colors: blue, red, black and pink.
Please note: grips sizes are approximate
Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, What’s your name?
My name’s Bob Zinsmaster
Where are you from?
We live in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida
So Bob, what paddle are you playing with these days?
I play with the Paddletek Stratus.
Why that paddle?
Well, I play both doubles and singles at a high level. It’s a lightweight paddle that allows me to maneuver it quickly, and my backhand’s my strength so I whip it very well. I do a lot of leaping of corners and with doing that I’m able to move the paddle around and my wrist doesn’t get tired. Especially with the singles you need to be able to move it quickly, so that’s why I use it. It’s light, but it’s powerful.
Thanks so much for talking with us.
