The Blaster 2 Alloy Pickleball Paddle is the more powerful version of the crowd-pleasing Graphite Blaster paddle. These two paddles are identical in dimension, differing only in their composition and in weight. Inside this paddle lies a resilient aluminum honeycomb core, protected by two sturdy sheets of smooth fiberglass. A large graphic number “2”, captioned by “Blaster” and “alloy” helps set this paddle apart from the others. A black burst frames this large number, adding dimension as well as interest to the design of the paddle.
Designed with the goal of providing a large hitting surface, the Alloy Blaster 2 paddle has an 8” wide face and a total paddle length of 15-5/8”. The handle is 5” from top to bottom, which leaves more room for the face. Players with small to average-sized hands will enjoy the small grip, but this can always be built up to a larger circumference by adding a wrap or an overgrip. This paddle has a lot of natural power and maneuverability, thanks to its weight range of 6.8-7.8 ounces. Players are welcome to call to request a weight within this range, since it is fairly considerable.
The Blaster 2 Alloy Composite is a winning combination of pop, control, power and style.
Available in the following colors: green, yellow, and pink.
Here is a transcript of the video:
My name is Marni Smith. I’m from Nashville, Tennessee.
Okay, and what did you compete at today?
I competed in the Women’s Doubles 50-54, with my identical twin sister, who lives in northern California. And we just travel all over the country and we fly in and play in tournaments, pickleball tournaments.
And what paddle did you play with today?
I played with my 2 Blaster Alloy Pro-Lite paddle, which I won it in a raffle and I never looked back.
What is it about the paddle that you like? Can you…
I have feel, I have power. It just gave me more choice in options for shots because I felt comfortable with the weight, with what I can spin it, I can not spin it. That’s what I like about it. It gave me a lot more shot options. Yeah.
