The Champion Graphite 2.0 Pickleball Paddle by Pickleball Inc. is popular for a reason. It had one of the first honeycomb cores and has set the standard in paddle design for several decades. This paddle is great for players of all skill levels thanks to its balanced design and is a true classic. With its ideal face shape, sturdy edge guard and quality construction, you can't go wrong.
The newly redesigned version of this paddle now comes in a small grip size and has an updated face, treated to feel sturdier and stay vibrant even after sun exposure. The Champion Graphite 2.0 Pickleball Paddle now features a lower profile edge guard providing less chance of mis-hits off the edge.
The redesigned graphic is a vibrant solid color, with layers of criss-crossing texture in a matching hue. CHAMPION SERIES 2.0 reads across the top of the face, with “GRAPHITE” located in the lower corner. This large 8-1/8” face width gives players lots of hitting surface, which beginners love.
The reviews prove that the Champion Graphite paddle is definitely a winner in the pickleball community.
Available in the following colors: Atlas Blue, Solar Orange, Aurora Green and Fire Red.
Jimmy and Griffin on Champion Paddles
Here's a transcript of the interview:
So I’m here with Pickleball-Inc., the guys who started it all. And this is Jimmy and Griffin. First of all, we want to say thanks. PickleballCentral got an opportunity to have an exclusive start on sales on the new Champion. So you have some examples of that here. So tell me a little bit about the redesign and what went into it and what was the motivation for bringing a classic paddle up to date?
For sure! So I guess I’ll start. We got the new Champion Graphite and Champion Aluminum which are the same core and face material as our traditional graphite and aluminum paddles. It’s a material that people love for its durability and play as well. We definitely saw room for improvement as far as graphic design as well as some playability and durability aspects as well. We developed this all-new edge guard and grip for our Elite Series which came out a couple months ago and we got such a good response on it that we had to carry it on our new Champion paddles.
We were really worried too, with this paddle especially since it’s been out for so long and it’s had such a good response, and you guys have been buying it since Day 1…
We were really scared, well, not scared, but we were really precautious about how do we redesign this… we wanted it to be simple, but at the same time, be new and be everything it could be, and I think we did that, and did a great job and I’m really happy with it. We’ll see, it just came out so going forward, I’m excited… I’m really excited.
You did a great job.

What did you chose to bring today?
I’ve chosen the Champion with aluminum core. It’s the only paddle that I’ve owned that I played with, I started playing with it and I swear by it. Other players and beginners that start playing pickleball, I really encourage them to try the Champion range of paddles, only because they’re light, they have a good surface area, well stable and you get a lot of play out of your paddle. I’ve owned this for now over a year and I play a lot of pickleball and I play a very strong game. And I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Other paddles, I’ve heard, handles break, they have a lot of issues, but I’ve been quite happy with this.
