Swift 2.0 Paddle

The Swift 2.0 Pickleball Paddle by Aero Paddles is a unique and light weight choice that's just as nimble as its name suggests. The Swift’s core is made from sustainably harvested balsa wood that dampens sound while providing top-notch reactivity. The wood is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified. This provides an impressive experience that's both good for the environment and good for your game.

The Swift 2.0 Paddle uses a thicker face than the first version for added durability and is reinforced with additional carbon fiber along the handle, neck and core for better distribution and strength. The carbon fiber is stronger than steel, but at only 1/3 of the weight! The material is recycled from high-tech aerospace manufacturing processes (rCF), which are injected with epoxy resin (an improvement over paddles using polyester resins). This is the first product commercially released in partnership with the Composite Recycling Technology Center (CRTC) in Washington State and a 100% American-made paddle.

The special Ultra-Silent EcoCore™ makes this one of the quietest paddles available, and also causes the Swift to "play heavier" than it really is, making it great for those who want both power and finesse.

Its weight ranges from 7.0 – 7.7 oz and comes with a medium grip. The paddle has a black background with a red mountain-like outline in the center and the word “Swift” written out below a white bird.

Aero Paddles worked extensively with the pickleball community ito design this paddle, collaborating with PickleballCentral on key aspects, and extensively field tested the Swift with over 100 USAPA ambassadors.

The Swift 2.0 Paddle will impress you with its touch and quick-playing nature as it leads you to victory.

Great Paddle May 13, 2017
Reviewer: Happy Aero User! from Omaha, NE United States
I was given a paddle to test in November 2016.  It has a nice feel and balance.  The paddle has a nice soft touch for the short game, but does not lack power when needed.  For the last month I have been playing with the Swift 2.0 paddle and find it also has the same great qualities.  My paddle has a weight of 7.3 oz.  I have loaned my paddle and the overwhelming review is favorable.  The weight is an asset to most players.  Great paddle!

Great finesse paddle with extra reach and control May 11, 2017
Reviewer: Charles Pugh, Sequim Pickler VP from Sequim, WA United States
This has been my go to paddle since March 2017. Our club, Sequim Picklers, had the opportunity to help test and provide feedback on the early production of this paddle. The unique combination of end grain balsa and carbon fiber provide the paddle with a finesse capability that is more consistent and forgiving than any other paddle I have used. I find it gives me an added feel and ability to make those key drop shots and off speed shots that keep the opponents guessing. I am currently using a 7.2 ounce version that gives me just the right punch. The comparative lightness of the paddle enables me to move the paddle quickly without the pain I get in my elbow when paddles get 8 ounces or heavier. The additional length allows me to get those shots that were previously out of reach. And as an added benefit the paddle is fully sustainable making use of recycled uncured carbon fiber that would otherwise end up in the landfill and instead makes the outside of the paddle stronger than steel.

Great paddle with nice touch May 11, 2017
Reviewer: Steve Manolis from Phoenix, AZ United States
First of all, I love graphite paddles, and then to have a company make paddles from recycled materials and made in the US...even better.  I was on of the original tester of the prototypes, so I would share the two paddles my wife and I were given.  Those test paddles were slightly heavier than the production ones and they performed great.  I'm not a big hitter, more I go for control and these paddles handle very nicely.  They are slightly oversized, like the Selkirk Omni, and have great balance.  Nice comfort on the grip as well.  I always recommend people to try as many pales as possible before buying, and the Swift should be one to try if you like light weight, balanced oversized paddles.  I'm also a big fan of shorter handles, and this one gives you that as it works well with weight distribution.

Great feel and a little extra reach April 29, 2017
Reviewer: Teresa Clements from Cottonwood, AZ United States
I want to preface my comments by saying that as  a USAPA ambassador I was given the opportunity to try out the prototype of this paddle and to receive the production version when available. I love the 7.2 oz weight of the production paddle for its quickness at the NVZ. Despite the light weight it performs well from the baseline.  Perhaps my favorite feature is the little extra length on the paddle head, resulting in a somewhat shorter grip, which provides a little extra reach without the top heavy feel of some of the other paddles with this feature that I've tried.  My only criticism is the one size fits all grip which might feel large to some,

Recycled carbon fiber paddle March 23, 2017
Reviewer: Jeffrey Morrison from Green Valley, AZ United States
Having the opportunity to play both indoor and outdoor with the early "experimental" paddle, I can state that this product will be very popular. Great "pop" from the baseline and nice touch from the kitchen. Extremely quiet with impact "softening", unlike my much stiffer, heavier previous paddle. Thanks to the Port Angeles, Washington firm that has developed this paddle using recycled carbon fiber.
