Dura Fast 40 Pickleball (outdoor) by Pickleball Inc.
The Dura pickleball is mostly used for outdoor play. Dura balls are considered the "original" pickleball. The Dura Fast 40 is the heaviest pickleball, weighing in at one ounce. Dura pickleballs are made in China.
The Dura Fast 40 pickleball is seamless. It is constructed through a rotationally molded one piece construction process. After cooling, holes are drilled out of the ball. Dura pickleballs have thick wall construction for increased durability. The Dura lives up to its name; it is durable.
Formerly called Dura 56 balls, the manufacturer has changed the name to Dura Fast 40 pickleballs. Dura 56 and Dura Fast 40 pickleballs are the same ball - just different names. There are 40 holes, of varying sizes, in the Dura Fast 40 ball.
Dura Fast 40 pickleballs are available in white, yellow and orange. Dura Fast 40 balls in yellow are used at the annual USA Pickleball Association’s National Tournament.
Jugs Pickleball (indoor) by Jugs Sports
The Jugs pickleball is mostly used for indoor play. Jugs are made of soft plastic and have big holes and a fun bounce. The Jugs ball weighs .85 ounces. Jugs balls are made in Taiwan.
Jugs are available in white and lime-green.
Finesse Pickleball (indoor) by Mach Z
Finesse pickleballs are mostly used for indoor play. The Finesse ball is new but is getting rave reviews. Finesse balls are made in China.
The Finesse ball was designed to optimize placement, strategy and "finesse." The Finesse ball is light, just .8 ounces, and is made out of soft plastic, which helps give a slower game and richer play experience. The Finesse ball was developed to be durable.
Finesse balls are available in white, yellow or green.
Big Hole Dura Pickleball (indoor) by Pickleball Inc.
The Big Hole Dura pickleball is mostly used for indoor play. Big Hole Duras are just like the standard Dura pickleballs but lighter (0.9 oz) with bigger holes to slow the ball down. The Big Hole Dura ball is seamless. It is constructed through a rotationally molded one piece construction process. After cooling, holes are drilled out of the ball. The Big Hole Dura is very durable; they have a thick wall construction for increased durability. The Dura won't break after a few hits.
