Evoke Graphite Paddle Teardrop by Onix Sports

The Graphite Evoke Pickleball Paddle is a highly attractive paddle produced by Onix Sports. This paddle features a noise-muffling polymer honeycomb core and a highly-responsive graphite face. The edge guard only overlaps 1/8Ē of the paddleís face, which is designed to reduce the number of sprayed balls due to the ball rebounding off that small rim. The design on this paddle is similar to those found on the other paddles in the Evoke family: Composite Evoke (Teardrop) and Evoke XL Composite. The word ďEvokeĒ is screen printed on top of the whirling Onix logo and a striped border. The text ďGraphiteĒ is added directly above the name of the paddle to help distinguish it from the others.

The Evoke Graphite paddle is a lightweight paddle, weighing only 6.8 to 7.2 ounces. This provides players with ultimate control and maneuverability at the net. The face measures 8-1/8Ē wide at its widest point, and then tapers in slightly toward the handle. From top to bottom, this paddle measures 15-3/4Ē long with a 5-1/2Ē long handle. This paddle has a large grip circumference and is wrapped with an extremely comfortable cushion grip.

The Graphite Evoke paddle is a great paddle choice for those who want a light paddle with a large face.

Available in the following colors: blue, green, purple, red and white.

Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, Iím Steve Wong with Onix Pickleball. This is the Graphite Evoke Paddle, teardrop shape. Itís available at PickleballCentral. This is one of my latest releases. I developed this paddle. The teardrop shape makes you focus on the sweet spot right in the center. It has a nice long handle, really good for power, awesome pop. Really good touch from the baseline for that third shot as well. Really good power with the overheads as well. Available at

So, can you introduce yourself?
Iím Sara. I am from the Philippines and I donít play pickleball there. I am a badminton player. Since Iíve moved here, there is no badminton, so I switched to pickleball and I really like it. Iíve only been playing for about a year now. Yeah, and itís awesome. I like the Evoke. Itís graphite. Because it has the control. Iím a hard player, I hit a lot of hard balls, so if I use the Legacy itís too much rubbing up, but this one I can control, so I love it.

Congratulations on your win today.
Iím very happy. Itís my first time to play here and I got the bronze, so I am happy. Thank you, thanks to my partner.

Thatís in the Womenís Doubles 19 and older at the Nationals of 2014.
Yes, yes itís first time.

Great, thank you so much.
Well, thank you.

Good Paddle June 20, 2017

Very nice paddle.  Handle length is good at 5 1/2 inches.  PBCentral was very helpful and responsive to my needs when the first paddle ordered did not have a long enough handle.  Be advised, they run short.  I woul def recommend deal omg with these folks as they are very nice and conscientious.

Teardrop June 16, 2017

Sampling teardrop-shaped paddles to simulate the feel of the Diller Taiwan. Evoke is a nice paddle, but very light 7 oz. Going from 10 oz. to 7 oz. was too drastic for me. Seemed like a smallish sweet spot. Skimpy-feeling paddle, but quality construction. Nice grip, long handle, attractive graphics. This review is based on indoor play. Would think this paddle would be overwhelmed by the heavier, harder outdoor ball. Not sure. As always, Pickleball Central handled the exchange, expedited, met my specifications for exchange. They will send replacement before receiving the return. Superb company.

Much lighter, which I expected and wanted.  Getting up to speed with it.  quicker at the net.  Love the grip.

Good for Arthritic Wrists May 26, 2017
Reviewer: Highracket from Albuquerque, NM United States
My sore wrists needed a paddle that could give good performance with a little less weight to protect from over-flexion.  Pickleball Central gave me several suggestions and put this at the top of the list.  The Evoke has been a great choice.

Evocative April 20, 2017
Reviewer: Tom Burke from Rochester, NY United States
I ordered this paddle with some trepidation but the informative pickleballcentral told me it had all my key requirements; bigger grip and lighter weight. I could be a nudge and say the grip could be longer but, really, an excellent racquet. Fair warning; I shaved an ounce off my previous paddle so it takes a few hours of play to make the proper adjustments.
