Encore Composite Pickleball Paddle

If you love hitting with power and spin, the Encore Pickleball Paddle will blow you away. According to the USAPA it has the highest amount of deflection and roughness allowed, making it easy to quickly fire balls over the net and keep your opponents guessing. With its composite and polymer construction, it also has a capacity for the “gentle touch” needed when dinking. This versatile paddle can truly do it all, and is backed by Engage’s outstanding reputation for quality.

The Engage Pickleball Paddle comes in several designs, ranging from a simple glossy white to color gradients and swirly tendrils. Along the lower edge of the paddle are Engage’s details and logo. The Encore is an even middleweight, ranging from 7.2 to 7.9 ounces. It measures 15-1/2” long and is a solid 8 1/8” wide. The handle has a medium circumference which suits most players.

The Encore Pickleball Paddle is an outstanding choice for players wanting the best of both worlds—power and control.

Available in the following colors: white paddle with either red logo, purple swirl, pink swirl, blue fade or red fade.

Here's a transcript of the video: Hi I’m Robert Elliott, one of the founders of Engage Pickleball. We’re here to explain the Encore Paddle. What makes the Encore paddle so special is we specially designed the skin and also the core to work as one. We call it Control Pro Technology. So with the Encore, one of the things is based on the USAPA guidelines of deflection, it has the highest deflection which means power for any paddle. It also has the roughest skin allowed by the USAPA. So, both of those together, plus with our special core, it has that soft feel at the net. So you have the power, the spin and the soft feel you need at the net.

Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, what’s your name? My name is Paul Cash. Where are you from, Paul? I live in the Villages, Florida. And what paddle do you play with. I play with the Engage paddle, Encore. Why? What’s so good about it? Well, the feel is real good but I like the texture of the surface. You get a little more spin with it, and as an ex-tennis player I like to hit a lot of spin. I find this probably the best paddle out there and actually I now have six of them. Great, thank you for talking with us. Thank you.

Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, what’s your name? Bill Greenwalt. Where are you from, Bill? Orange County, California. What paddle are you playing with today? Engage Encore. Why that paddle? It has a great combination of feel, you have good touch when you’re dinking, for volleying but it still has plenty of power and a lot of feedback from the paddle. So, it’s the best I’ve found. Thank you so much for talking with us.

Here's a transcript of the video: Hi, so what is your name? My name is Nikki Buckmaster. And where are you from? I’m from Bonita Springs, Florida so I’m a local. What paddle do you play with? I play with the Encore. Personally, I just love this paddle. I have a lot of power in my game, and it just really helps me with paddle and finesse and I also love the bling. All about the bling. So it’s just really helped my game come along in all aspects, so I am sold with this. Thank you very much.

Purchased a Z5 and played it about  20+ games.  Grip was a bit stickie and I could feel dead spots on occasion.  Traded it for the Engage Encore and glad I did.  Have played about 15 games and so far I love it.  Grip size is suppose to be the same on both these paddles but the Encore has a much better feel for me.  This is not to berate the Z5,  A majority of the folks I play with have the Z5 and they are happy with them.  Guess the point is, Pickelball Central made it easy to test drive and find what was good for me.  Great company to deal with.

The real deal April 6, 2017
Reviewer: OWL from Littleton, CO United States
I'm relatively new to pickle ball, and this is my first "pro" quality paddle. That being said, I find the Encore to be a terrific paddle, with all the pop I need to put the ball away, while still offering speed and control at the net, with excellent spin when desired. I got the lightest available @ 7.25 oz, and the weight seems perfect for me. This paddle is all it is claimed to be. Excellent! And the service from PBC was also all that I could ask for, as Carrie suggested a lightly used Selkirk Neo for $29, when I had a different backup paddle in mind. The Neo was a fine choice for this duty, and offered some perspective on weight, with its 7.9 oz as a counterpoint to the Encore. I'll definitely buy from PBC again.

First, the description of the paddle helped me choose this paddle. The paddle is just what I need to play my best, light weight with a shorter handle. I'd buy it again.
