Pickleball has the combined features of badminton, tennis and table tennis but also has its own unique features, too! This sport receives point scoring from badminton, the court structure from badminton and tennis, the net from badminton and tennis. The paddle is made of either wood or a composite material. The ball is plastic and contains several small holes, like a wiffle ball. A game is played to 11 points. Only the server can score points 1 point per serve. Each time you win a point you serve again. You continue serving until you lose the rally.

About the Author
Mark Friedenberg is one of the USA Pickleball Associations (USAPA) top ranked pickleball doubles players in Washington State. Also, he is the top singles and doubles player for his age group in the state. Because of his age and physical stature his tournament partners and opponents call him Yoda or the Ancient Master. He always brings with him his bag of tricks. Many are exposed in this book. When it comes to pickleball he is one of the most knowledgeable players to have ever played the game. All his pickleball knowledge, skills and tournament experiences have gone into this book.
