David Johnson, the founder,realized there was a need for a website like PickleballCentral.com when his wife, Anna, couldn't find a pickleball T-shirt online to purchase as a gift for her mom. David was an early pickleball fan having a private pickleball court in his yard back in 1996! David wanted to help people find quality pickleball equipment and assessories online.
